I have a mixed review, so bear with me. We went as a family of 4 to eat dinner and play some games Saturday night. We were seated quickly and asked what we wanted to drink. As soon as I started to answer she said well I'll get your server....ok.... Justine was the one bright spot in a mediocre experience. She took our orders and promptly put them in and brought our drinks. Our appetizer arrived in a timely fashion, and then we waited for our meals. And we waited. About 30+ minutes later our food was brought out by a gentleman which had clearly sat under a heat lamp for a while. The reason our waitress didn't bring them is because she was doing everything. And I mean everything. The other 2 servers on the floor were either standing around or, at one point, eating while Justine took care of the tables. So of course our service experience wasn't the best. The food would have been good if it had come out when it was initially done. It was just ok, but not terrible. To top it off there was a table of young adults who were acting inappropriately, and at one point somehow threw or spilled a drink that actually got on my son, sister, and husband. The fact that we were offered a different table was all well and good, but nothing was said to them. At all. When it comes to the games they were fun. And if we had an issue, which we had a few, they were promptly taken care of. Kudos for that. My suggestions would be to hire some staff that actually appreciate their jobs, because 2 of the 3 were there collecting a paycheck and being rude. Nothing more. Plus the prizes could be a little better, but they are better than other places. Justine please keep up the good work and stay there. Yes the games were fun, but you'd be the reason we...
Read moreI truly believe the arcade area is awesome and fun for families and adults who are kids at heart, but the reasturant side leaves much to be desired. I am not an aracde going person, so is the food at all arcade places just mediocre and bland? The prices for food aren't outrageous but the food is just ok. The wait time for my food was lengthy as well, and it was not busy. All I wanted was a quick bite with my mom and her friend while we were shopping in the plaza. We all figured let's give Fang's a try instead of Subway. It was all of ours first time here. Our waitress was not rude but inattentive and on her phone a lot, so she missed some of our signals. The vibe was not cheerful; we felt in the way. I also accidentally left out my coke by my purse on our table. I had bought it in Big Lots because it was hot, and we walked down to Bealls, and I didn't know we would eat at Fang's. However, the security guard nicely asked me to put it in my purse. He greeted us first and even conversed with us for a minute which was more then our waitress. My mom's friend's order was incorrect but remedied, so one of my stars is for the manager fixing that and the kind security guard. I also don't want low score this place too much because Fang's gaming area looks amazing, but I'm just not recommmending a girl's lunch here while shopping. I am also not an arcade person, so unless a group of my friends want to go here, I will not be back. I also think some customer service training may need to happen here, or maybe she was just having...
Read moreBefore I start the review I need to inform anyone that plans on going that the tickets you win are WEIGHED NOT COUNTED.I'm going to start from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere and decor were practically non existant. It looked like children got a bunch of stickers, posters and random objects and plastered them throughout the whole area. It is DEAD quiet, there is no music playing to help make it more welcoming. I'm going to cut the waitress some slack since she was only working 3 days (however when we asked what the weird liquid sauce was none of the waitresses knew what it was). Next the food. Onion rings were fried in a thin batter (didn't finish them) the wings were TINY but were still good. The fish was over seasoned( with old bay seasoning). Either way the food was....forgetable.Not worth the price. The Arcade is next. The games are cheap which is a good thing, however there were a few that were turned off, out of order and were in a different language so unless you can read it you can refer to the self made written or printed pieces of paper that are taped by the screens. The ball pit....was...so...bad, you could fit all the balls in a trash bag (thank god that part was free), like i said at the beginning the tickets are weighed instead of counted which makes no sense and just adds to the shady feel of the place.the toys broke before we got to the car....
