Chen's Kitchen — Restaurant in Hoboken

We used to order from Che's Kitchen often. Not recently thought. We decided to order last night, knowing to expect great food. Unfortunately either they replaced the cook or changed their recipes. This is NOT CHINESE FOOD. It tasted like the so called Chinese in Old Country Buffet or similar food places.

We ordered chicken with broccoli and Kung Pao chicken. These were our favorites, full of flavor and spicy as I expected the Kung Pao chicken to be, however last night the food was very blunt and sickly sweet, no flavor whatsoever. Almost forgot to mention that the portions being dinner portions looked as they have been cut in half from before, so not only paying morek but getting less very bad quality food!

I never expected this from Chen's Kitchen -- not a Chinese place anymore. Not ordering from there again, ever.

That's not all of it -- I wasn't expecting much from the delivery person, but they didn't even care to knock on the door, just dropped the package in front of my door and I had to guess when the food is delivered.

I live right around the corner from Chen's Kitchen. The food there is always very good and has lots of flavor which you would hope to expect from any restaurant. What I didn't expect is how friendly the owner of the restaurant is. Such a kind and sweet person that deserves your business. I stopped in briefly to grab some soup and at the moment they only support online orders/cash. I didn't have any cash on me and my phone was left at home.
