Disappointing Experience at Green Garden Chinese Restaurant.

I recently dined at Green Garden, enticed by the promise of a hearty meal of Curry Chicken. To my dismay, the dish was a letdown. Priced at $8.75, it fell short of expectations, not because of the flavor, but due to the meager portion of chicken served. With only 4-5 small pieces hidden among an overwhelming heap of vegetables, it felt like a search mission rather than a dining experience.

The Wonton Soup was the only saving grace of the meal, offering a taste of what could have been if the main course had lived up to the standard. In hindsight, I wish I had stopped at the soup, which was the highlight of the meal.

In all, the experience left me feeling shortchanged. The imbalance between the cost and the quantity of chicken was stark, and I can’t shake off the feeling of being ripped off. It’s a cautionary tale for fellow diners – if you’re here for the chicken, you might want to reconsider your order or perhaps choose a different...

My mother wanted to come here idk why she picked Hoboken we aren’t from there so we went she Ordered the orange beef with beef fried rice She said to me ohh it’s expensive as if it was impossible for a black person to pay 27$ for some horrible tasting food I’m not sure it was even beef Then I had sesame chicken it was mid I told them put eggs in my rice (no eggs ) Rice has no seasoning the broccoli didn’t even have sauce on it they just steamed it no seasoning n put it on the side One pic suppose to be beef one suppose to be sesame chicken only reason u can tell the difference is the seeds. Terrible and dissatisfied ! We ordered from Green Garden Chinese food of Hoboken and first the wonton soup was dumped inside the bag, the sweet and sour chicken was so over cooked it dropped on the plate like a stone and the fried wanton's were so overcooked the inside was dried up and the rice was mixed with couscous or if it was rice it was so mashed it resembled couscous when I called she said it was fresh I seriously doubt it take some pride in you establishment I understand its Covid and can be overwhelming but serving terrible food is just what it is terrible food...
