Today I had the worse experience at Biancamano. The sandwich and customer service were terrible. The sandwich was dry and so was the customer service from Pete's wife. The sandwich was like a paver block and almost broke my teeth. The mayo was like spackle and the mozz was as dry as a desert. When I called to complain, Pete's wife wanted to entire sandwich back at the store as if she was going to resell with my 2 bite marks. I told her I paid good money for the sandwich and she said, "You think $9.00 is a lot of money?" The only reason I have 1 star is because it wont let me post the comment without a star. Its a shame it came down to this after years of being a good customer. Thank you M&P for the terrible experience. The good thing is that I will never have to experience this again. Goodbye M&P!!

A nostalgic trip back when sandwich shops where about people and the smiles where the reviews of today pride and old school hanging cured cheeses and dry meats which invoke some childhood memories of my old neighbor hood...The secret to a great sandwich is the smiles look of amazement in ones eyes a true Sandwich maker skill of slicing the meats and creating layers of deliciousness. Also the true symphony of a meat slicer as it creates a wonderful sound for meat as a different sound for the cheese it slices...NOSTALGIA AT ITS PEAK...THE SANDWICHES ARE AMAZING. the owners take Great Pride in its masterful creation love it and would defintely become a regular from NYC STATEN ITALY.....some might say i am a PASTA RICAN....

Found M&P’s on a whim while walking towards the main road in Hoboken and didn’t realize that this sandwich was going to by far the best thing I’ve ever had on this side of the Hudson. My boyfriend and I came just 30 mins before closing and the owners greeted us like we were guests in their home. We felt bad for dining in right before closing but they insisted we enjoy. And the Italian sandwich… beyond words. Freshly sliced provolone or mozzarella, freshly sliced meats, the veggies were crisp, peppers and onions nice and thin. True quality and well deserved reputation. We will come back again and again.

One of the Best Deli's in Hoboken/New Jersey Upon walking in, we were greeted by the very nice people working there, they made us giant sandwhiches loaded with meat and cheese.

The Sandwhiches I had a Turkey Mutz Mayo and Sundried Tomatoes, the sandwhich was LOADED and I absolutely could not finish the second half (right away). I appreciated the softness of the bread for such a large sandwhich, as it was easier to eat and easier on the unhinging of the jaw to take a bite of the giant sandwhich.

The Mozzarella The Fresh Mozzarella was excellent and definetly stands up to spots like La Bella and Fiore's, and Vinny's Mootz. Perfectly seasoned, not too salted, not under salted. Good moisture.

The Staff The staff were very friendly and we felt very welcome in the deli. They made our sandwhiches with much love.

Overall, 9/10, would and...

This absolute gem is a holdover from a better time in Hoboken with family owned Italian delis and stores all over town that are slowly disappearing to corporate overlords. Happy to see that this family owned business also owns the building and so they're not going anywhere.

Quite simply the best deli in town. The sandwiches are massive and overstuffed with homemade meats using the best breads and ingredients. The mayo is the best I've ever tasted and the muzz is creamy and juicy and unlike anything I've ever tried. Made daily. And if that's not enough, have a dish with their homemade red sauce. It brings me back immediately to the Sunday dinners of my childhood.

The owners are an amazing Italian couple from Salerno and they couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. I hope this place is around...
