I had an amazing lunch experience at OrGovia restaurant in Hoboken, NJ. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The service was prompt, and everything exceeded our expectations. The special of the day was baked chicken, and the empanadas and alcapurria were made with fresh ingredients by the chef himself. What a little hidden gem with the SWEETEST people!! They were so warm and welcoming that it made you want to stay and just have a good old sit around the dinner table together type conversation. We’ve gone twice now to order takeout and each time it did not disappoint! The steak sandwich was tender, juicy and flavorful, the empanada was on point 👌🏻 and the smashed tostones, yum! Hello! If I were to write a memoir, I’d write about my experience eating food at this place. I’m Puerto Rican born and raised. When I ate the pastel de choclo, I had an out of body experience. The fried yuca is the best I’ve ever had. We also tried the fried chicken sandwich - also fantastic. The alcapurrias? Also amazing. They didn’t miss anywhere. 10/10.
