Only giving it 5 stars for the lols…
My boyfriend and I have been on the road for 14 hours now. We were starving and decided to play it as safe as one can play it when it comes to Taco Bell… We ordered 3 supreme crunchy tacos, 2 potato tacos, and 1 steak quesadilla. We tried ordering on the little kiosks that they have in there, but the credit card machine wasn’t working for one of them, so we tried the other one. That one worked. We paid, waited for our food. Enter RON! What a guy! Ron arrived about 5 minutes after us, paid at the register, they didn’t have enough change at the register, so the girl went to the drive through register… right off the bat, we could tell they were in the weeds. My boyfriend and I were waiting around for our food, I smelled something burning and joked with my boyfriend that they were burning our food (more on that later). Ron got his food before we did! That’s ok though, we decided Ron was cool in our book. After Ron received his food, I looked at my boyfriend and asked “didn’t he order after us?” Then an employee comes out, and places a bag on the counter and calls out for RON again. Ron politely informs him that he already got his food, and the employees looked confused AF. The employee gives the bag to Ron, I get up and head towards the register to ask about our food. Meanwhile my boyfriend goes and asks Ron if he could look in the bag to see if it was our order, Ron (bless you) thinks we’re just hungry and tells him he can take whatever he wants. My boyfriend tells him he thinks that’s our order (spoiler alert: it was) once that gets settled, we head back to our car, and laugh about what just happened in there. What the hell was even that?! They were having an off night or something? open up our food and, remember the quesadilla? It was burnt a little bit. We laughed it off. My boyfriend goes to open his potato taco and sees that it has tomatoes (he doesn’t like tomatoes) laughs, and says “these don’t come with tomatoes” he finishes that one, opens up the other one, and laughs again “this one doesn’t have tomatoes” made us laugh after a long day of driving. Thank...
Read moreJust had the pleasure of dealing with Reilly(sp?). We refused to use the kiosks and he stepped right up and took our order. Food was ready and tasty quick as lightning. He actually served FOUR customers and had all our orders ready in less time than it took three millenials to place their orders at those sorry kiosks. The poor kiosk kids were still fumbling around trying to get their payments to work by the time the rest of us finished eating our meals, got refills on drinks, and left. Reilly needs to be seriously commended as he completely blew those new horrid kiosks outta the water. Now THAT is customer service at its pinnacle and TB needs more employees like him. Not even one hour earlier we walked out of the TB in Payson, AZ because the staff refused to serve us at the counter. This guy personally saved two lifelong TB customers and saved the company who knows how much bad word-of-mouth PR. We will continue to return as long as we receive stellar, personal, customer service such as this.
P.S. This guy was also quite effectively handling a busy drive-thru window while helping us customers at the counter. I'd like to see your kiosks...
Read moreI just wanted to send a huge shout out and thank you to Logan the ARM at the Holbrook, AZ Taco Bell. After a very lengthy car trip, I had gone through the drive-thru and did not realize I had not gotten my credit card back. Realizing it several hours and many miles later, I called the restaurant and spoke with Logan. He indicated he had it and assured me he would get it back to me. With Christmas approaching, he took the time to communicate about how he could return it and when he would be in the area where I was staying-since mailing things this time of year is hard to gauge. On Christmas morning, I met him early as he was passing on his way to visit family, and he handed it back to me. With everything happening in the world today, it was a reminder of the decency of others, someone taking the time to fix a problem and also just doing it in such a sweet, personal way. Logan was earnest and helpful, and I just want to say how appreciative I am. So...count me in as a huge and very...
