D'Ottavio's Italian House — Restaurant in Hollidaysburg

Ordered a pick up order through the slice app. Ordered a ham and pepperoni pizza (paid extra for ham topping) and a meatball pizza. Went to pick up the order when the app told us it was finished and ready for pick up, walked inside and they said they never saw the order come through and that it would be another 20 minute wait for them to start it. The app told us the restaurant processed the order and was ready when it was completed. Employee was dancing on the floor when karaoke was happening. Took the pizza home after waiting and the toppings were missing that we paid extra for. Being irritated that we waited so long for the order, I decided to call to let them know what the pick up process was like and that our order wasn’t correct. On the phone, the person who answered asked someone in the background about the order and the guy in the background said “I don’t know what to tell them”. Only thing the guy on the phone said I will let the manager know sorry no excuse for this. He explained that they were short staffed and busy yet the employees have time to go out and dance during karaoke. Seems like they need to pay attention and now throw stuff in a box. Too busy breaking it down instead of worrying about peoples orders. Learned we will never order from here again after this being our first impression...

I have worked in food service, so I am take certain things into consideration when ordering some where for delivery. That being said .On a wed night around 8:30 I call & ordered a Hawaiian pizza to be delivered. They being open until 11:00 seemed to be a resonable time to call. My pizza arrived in roughly 30 min apposed to the usual hr or more. Which with cook time & other orders makes sense. Sooooo .how was this so quick? I tipped thanked the guy & settled in to enjoy my pizza First off when I opened the box it looked like a cheft boyrd made. The cheese was gross looking & the pinnapple was either spoiled or soked in something awful. I could not eat it. Down the desposle it wen. I did call management the next day to inform them of my horrible experiance. I did not except a gift card for future use because ImI not giving them another chance to mess with my food. My advice don't call for evening delivery you won't make employees very happy. Oh & I'm on 02 so ordering in is a help to me. I don't do very often. What happen to taking pride...

First of all the food is pretty good. The bar side is nice if you can sit at the bar. Atmosphere is pretty good. Service is fine. If you sit anywhere else in the bar side you get country music and very random service. If you are on the pizza shop side you again get country music but s bit better service. The back area of the bar has numerous TVs, none of which are ever on. The juke box and TVs from the bar are audible but you can't enjoy whats going on. Just the sound of the country music. Over the past few years the entire place has been neglected and is in need of serious repairs. The bar area is the only area that is comfortable, all of the other areas are very warm and quite uncomfortable, my wife is always cold and still finds it too warm. As I'm writing this review I'll add the problem with flies. It's hard to eat and enjoy as best you can when your constantly waving flies away. It's a shame because as I said the food is good but after that everything else is not so good and...
