To start I LOVE the pizza here. That is what makes my experience so much worse. I ordered 2 pizzas for pickup tonight and was very dissatisfied. The first pizza was 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 mushrooms. The second pizza was the chicken BBQ which comes with coleslaw on top. When we went to pick it up we were charged for a pizza with 2 FULL toppings. They said they had to do it that way. If you are charging for 2 toppings there should be a full topping on each half of the pizza and there wasn't, it was a normal amount. Also if they "had to do it that way" why didn't she tell me that when I ordered? I would have gotten both toppings on the whole pizza and had my kids pick stuff off. The next problem was when we opened the chicken pizza it came with a tiny size container of coleslaw that was only half full. It would not have been enough for 2 slices. They give you more coleslaw when you order a single slice. When I called back over to tell them about it, the same girl I ordered from answered and she said there wasn't anything she could do about it. I asked to speak to a manager or the owner. After 10 minutes on hold she got back on and said he was WAY too busy to talk to me. I said someone is driving all the way back there for more coleslaw and I will wait to talk to a manager. Finally when the owner's son got on the phone he tried to tell me they put extra of both toppings on each half which was totally a lie because I order pizza from there a lot and it was the regular amount that is always on the pizzas. After arguing with him he finally said they could give me more coleslaw and a refund for one of the toppings. But when she went to pick up the coleslaw the same girl said she couldn't do anything until her manager got off the phone (he was on the phone with me). Then she practically threw the coleslaw at her so she would leave and they never gave her the refund. So disappointing and poor customer service. Don't know if I'll order again...
Read moreThis place is easy to miss if you aren't familiar with the area but it's well worth seeking out. I really didn't even know about it until I moved, and ended up being adjacent to it. This is hands down my favorite place to eat in Hollidaysburg, and my favorite pizza period. The slices will blow your mind, they're HUGE, I'm not talking like a "large slice": they're basically a small pie, you can cut one "slice" into what is the equivalent of about four large conventional slices of pizza. To top that off, the slices are pretty cheap and you have a huge slew of toppings to choose from. All of the ingredients are fresh, and the dough is house made. I've lived in the area long enough to have tried everything on the menu, and it's all really great. In particular, the salads and steak hoagies aren't something to be missed. The joint itself is pretty small but it's always spotless, and the employees are super friendly. Best bang for your buck in town & you can't go wrong...
Read moreThis place used to be good...Sadly they have went downhill. I am an understanding and patient person and I try to support small businesses whenever possible, but the last three times we ordered there, we have had issues and today will probably be our last. Make sure you check your food because the girl who took our order didn't put the order in right and told us to eat what we wanted and our next order would be half off. Why would I want to eat the wrong stuff? I know it is tough to get help nowadays but you would think they would train their staff on how to react and treat customers. I highly suggest the Front Street Subs by Meadows, they are friendly, they have never screwed up my order, and they have good homemade desserts too. If you just want a slice of pizza, I recommend OIP...they have...
