Blair county is known for several things. Luigetta’s salad is one of them. Outsiders question it. It’s just lettuce and tomato they say, but it’s more. The dressing makes it memorable. If you are from the Altoona section then maybe you are loyal there, from the Hollidaysburg section then maybe you are loyal there. Either way come for the salad. Always, always get it on the side. The menu in Hollidaysburg is more vast and you can grab some jars of dressing to take home with you but once you’ve had it you’ll never forget it. Got a side salad and had to send it back bc the bowl was half filled with dressing... like cereal. Again, it was a let down on my last, but i've typically been a Luigetta's fan.
