This is a very cute cafe and a welcome addition to the Holly Springs area which is sorely lacking in nice cafes. It’s an Asian-style French bakery where you select pastries with tongs to put on your tray. The pastry prices are pretty decent, e.g.: $3.50 for kimchi croquette, $2.95 for a Portuguese egg tart, $2.95 for a sweet rice donut filled with red bean, $4.50 for 3 honey cheese mochi pancakes filled with cream cheese.
The atmosphere is definitely cute. Lots of white and light wood, and gold colored metal. Well-lit and clean. The ceilings are high though and it’s all metal so it’s quite loud.
They also have various drink offerings. I got the matcha tiramisu latte ($6.50) with almond milk ($0.95). It was fine though nothing special.
Also, the pastries were kinda cold but apparently you can ask for them to warm them up (I missed the sign when I got mine).
Pros: good offerings, nice prices for pastries, good atmosphere, nothing like it in the area.
Cons: drinks are only okay, the space is pretty loud with really tiny tables.
I’d say this is a solid 4 star place, maybe even 4.5, and would be happy to...
Read moreI’ve visited this new bakery twice now, both on the weekend and it’s quickly become a favorite spot! The first time was on a Saturday morning right in the middle of the rush, and there was still a full selection of fresh baked goods to choose from. My second visit was on a Sunday just after the rush, and while there were slightly fewer options by then, there was still more than enough to pick from—and everything looked (and tasted!) incredible. Every baked good I’ve tried so far has been absolutely delicious. I had the iced matcha both times and it was amazing, smooth, refreshing, and not too sweet for my liking. Others in my group tried the strawberry lemonade and caramel macchiato, and both got rave reviews. The staff is another reason I’ll keep coming back. Every worker we spoke with was kind, helpful, and happy to answer questions about the drinks and menu. You can tell they care about the experience.Definitely...
Read moreI love this place, but I had to give one star for service just because of the little girl with the facial piercings. She has the worst attitude and she’s so rude. She never smiles, or says anything. I’m always very polite…I say thank you and have a good day and she just stares with a blank look and she has even rolled her eyes a few times. I held my hand out once to take my drink from her and she sat it on the counter and slid it to me. We don’t have to be besties or have a full convo but her energy is yucky! She has been this way since the first time I went in there. Now if I start returning that energy, I’ll be the problem. I suggest whoever is in charge checks her attitude. Everyone else is lovely, nice and friendly and everything in there is...
