I ordered 4 smoothies on a Wednesday one of the smoothies was a detox island green, while my wife is drinking her smoothie she notices a foreign substance in her smoothie so when she checks it turbos out to me styrofoam as she starts to look in her cup she notices chunks of styrofoam in her smoothie (pictures attached) I call the store immediately and let them know, I was told by an employee that she would let the manager know and I would get a phone call the following day. I waited a week and no phone call so I decided to call the store again. The manager on duty said he had not heard about the incident offered to give me a refund and remake the smoothies but he would call me back. When he called me back he had found out from the first employee that I spoke to what happened and had also talked to the other manager and I was told they could not do an online refund that I would have to come into the store and get a refund and I needed to bring my receipt. I was also told that if I didnāt come in that day that I couldnāt get a refund. The manager that knew about the situation was on vacation. I told the employee that I would wait till she got back on Thursday to give me a call. Well it has now been 2 weeks from the time the incident happened and I still havenāt heard anything. We checked the rim of the cup and there was no damage to it. The manager that I did speak to told me that the styrofoam was probably from another cup and the employee that made the smoothie didnāt pay attention before pouring the smoothie...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible experience. I used to like going to tropical smoothie. I arrived about 2-3 min before closing and they had already pretty much closed the place. Fair enough it was 2-3 min before being closed. Now I get that restaurants and cafes try to get everything ready and cleaned up right before closing but the look the woman who worked there gave me was just completely unprofessional and rude and just downright mean. Mind you there is no other customers in there. She immediately said thereās 2 min left to me with an edge in her voice. Then she proceeded to say I can only make smoothies. Sure I wasnāt planning on eating anything else but again she said it in a way that made me feel like I was causing the UTMOST INCONVENIENCE to her. From then on she was stomping around slamming things acting like the world was ending that I walked in around 2-3 min before closing. If your restaurant or cafe closes at 8 pm it closes at 8 pm not 7:57 pm not 7:59 pm 8 pm. I donāt know what it is about the village walk shopping center in Holly Springs but almost every fast food chain is run by teenagers which is fine but they all need to be taught customer service because that is not how you should treat customers. I ordered a quesadilla, a smoothie and a bag of chips from the app. Only the smoothie was ready, so he waited about 20 minutes thinking they were just busy. He asked for help. There was a girl working who looked 11-12 years old and Iām not being rude, she seriously looked that old and itās something that should be looked into. My husband said we were still missing a quesadilla and a bag of chips. They said we donāt have an order for that. He asked her to check the computer and she didnāt she just said again that they donāt have anything for me except the smoothie. He showed her the receipt and then another employee came over and said they were sorry and went to make the food. The 11-12 year old gave my husband the quesadilla with no bag and also no bag of chips. He asked for the chips and they said sorry again and gave him the bag and chips. I keep trying to come back here in hopes that they will improve but it only seems to get worse. We will not...
