Came here for dinner with friends to celebrate another friend being in town. Food took a little while to arrive, we didn't get the tortillas for the fajitas, and one of our salads never came. No big deal. They brought us plenty of tortillas after we mentioned some were missing, and we shared condiments. Salad was dropped from the receipt. None of this was a big problem for us. At the time we arrived, it was busy, and a lot of us have worked in service, knowing how it can be.
The problem came when we went to pay. My friend informed the hostess she wanted to pay in cash - $70 and change. Hostess says okay, picks up the cash, walks off, which came off as very odd to us, because typically the check is printed and presented before any cash is taken. Hostess came back with the cash, placed the cash back down and informed my friend they'll have the check at the table shortly. Once the waiter came with her check, my friend went to hand the cash to our waiter, to which he informed her she was $40 short - two of the twenties were missing. We looked around the table, under the dishes, nothing. Friend checked her purse and pockets just in case, nothing. We attempted to locate the hostess who handled the cash, but she had seemingly dipped out for the night. Our waiter let us know he'd get the manager, but also made no effort to find or even name the hostess, or even inform us if she had clocked out for the night or not. Manager comes, and tells us there's nothing he can do. Made no effort to find out what hostess had seated us, told us there were no security cameras they could check, and told us "Do what you feel you have to do." in regards to the missing $40. We were stunned. We left the $30 for the check - minus the missing $40, and left.
Overall, this situation couldn't have been handled any worse. The manager and the waiter made little effort to figure out what hostess handled our cash, did nothing to provide a solution, and gave us what essentially boiled down to a "It is what it is" response. We'll not be returning to this location, and we heavily advise others avoid this...
Read moreBE VERY VERY VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU EAT HERE AND OBSERVE YOUR FOOD WITH A MICROSCOPE IF NEED BE. This Chili's is VERY unprofessional and the managers are VERY DECITEFUL. I stop in there for a quick pick me up. My order was very simple an order of French fries and egg rolls to go. I'm so ashamed to return or bring any of my friends or family to celebrate or gather at this place. Plain and simple there is hair in my food. The floor manager Diya came out with and attitude along with the 13 additional minutes it took to re fire the French fries. Meanwhile my other foods items are sitting there getting cold. Thank GOD I looked at my food before a took a bit. I WAS SHOCKED THAT NO ONE TOOK THE TIME TO LOOK AT WHAT THEY WERE SERVING. The longest hair strip that I have come to deal with. I use to cook In kitchens while in college and whenever there was a mistake on the food or misunderstanding we would return the food and the full price of the order. Especially , when it came to sanitary situations as which; hair in your food. After I left I called to speak to the store manager because Diya's attitude was not representing the Chili's standard that I know. I called to speak to the store manager and Todd came on the phone lying saying he was the store manager after being drained by Todd who was Absolutely no help he turned the phone over to Diya who have failed all ready in giving customer service at the bar fulled with people as he battle with me after I asked him if his staff was knowledgeable about food safety and if they All had food handlers cards. I grew up in this Hollywood area and I remember when that Chili's was not there. I hope that day comes very soon. When I won't have to deal with seeing this Chili's in My neighborhood again. Because of the method that the managers decided to take care of their customers; when they are at fault. I'm completely disgusted. Drive a little farther to Ale house ; where the management takes responsibility and ownership for the restaurant they repersent. DONT EAT HERE.!!!...
Read moreWE recently visited Chili's Grill & Bar and found it to be a solid choice for a casual dining experience. Here’s a breakdown of my visit:
Chili's offers a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere with a classic American bar and grill vibe. The decor features a mix of rustic and contemporary elements, with plenty of seating options, from cozy booths to larger tables for groups. The ambient lighting and upbeat music create a lively environment perfect for families, friends, or even a casual date night.
The service at Chili's was friendly and efficient. The staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and checked in regularly without being intrusive. The wait time for our food was reasonable, even during a busy evening.
The menu at Chili's is extensive, offering a variety of American and Tex-Mex favorites. We started with the classic chips and salsa, which were fresh and flavorful. For the main course, I had the Oldtimer with Cheese, a juicy and well-seasoned burger, while my companion opted for the Chicken Fajitas, which came sizzling hot with all the fixings. Both dishes were satisfying and portion sizes were generous. The flavors were bold and the presentation was appealing.
Chili's drink menu includes a good selection of cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages. I tried the Presidente Margarita, which was well-balanced and refreshing. They also offer a variety of flavored lemonades and specialty drinks, catering to different tastes.
For dessert, we shared the Molten Chocolate Cake, a decadent treat with a gooey chocolate center and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. It was the perfect sweet ending to our meal and great for sharing.
The prices at Chili's are reasonable and in line with what you’d expect for a casual dining chain. The value is good considering the portion sizes and quality of the food. They also offer various promotions and deals, which can make dining out even...
