Until tonight I was rating this hotel a 4. It’s not quite a 5 but keep at it. The hotel is pretty nice. I didn’t have a DnD sign in my room so cleaning crew came in when I didn’t want it.
Guitar Hotel Jr. King suite with a pool view. The room was nice. Not sure how thoroughly they clean because there was and still remains a dirty sock in the closet. Very spacious. Loved the huge tub in the room. The view wasn’t bad at all. The big con here: there is a rooftop bar about 16 floors down, I really don’t know. The music is so loud you can hear it with all the doors closed. I really need some earplugs at this point. I have an 8am flight and the music is keeping me awake. It is just past midnight. I called the front desk and was told the music will go until 2am. This is crazy. Tonight was the first night the music was played this late. This is information you should have in advance. I called the front desk at 2:30am because the music was still going then was told it would continue until 3-4am. I was then offered ear plugs. That should have been offered at 11:30pm when I first called. My vacation ended miserably.
Food: I wanted to see how consistent the restaurants were so I ate at the same restaurant and room service.
Hard Rock Cafe: for three days I ordered the spicy shrimp appetizer and the cucumber tomato salad. Each day the dish looked different and tasted different. Spicy shrimp: day one it was great. Plenty of spicy sauce made to perfection. Second day it lacked sauce. Third day the coleslaw was missing. Cucumber Tomato Salad: day one the salad was drowning in dressing the last two there was hardly any dressing at all. Drinks: to the bartender, shots should be served in a shot glass. While the menu advertised the green tea shot and lemon drop shots in shot glasses, that’s not how they were served. The lemon drop was awful. The green team shot was cool. I also had a mojito made with vodka that was pretty decent as well.
I also tried the smokehouse bbq combo. The ribs were a little overcooked. The pulled pork was delicious, very tender and not too saucy. The beans and coleslaw could have used some tlc (flavor). I also tried the twisted Mac and cheese. It too needed some tlc. There was no flavor at all to the dish. The apple Cobbler was a hot mess all the way around.
Room service: breakfast- I ordered buttermilk pancakes, two eggs over medium and bacon. I received some breakfast potatoes not sure why because I didn’t order them. The pancakes were great. The bacon was greasy and flimsy. The eggs ere overcooked. Dinner: crab cakes, snapper and cheesecake. The crab cakes looked very appealing but they were greasy and the filling was warm at meat. There wasn’t enough remoulade for the portion. The snapper did not look appealing at all. These two meals were $170.
I think I’m more upset that I would like to be sleep right now but the music is awful and awfully loud. I hate going home tired when I should be fully rested. My relaxing vacation ended on a very low note. Not one person at this place cared about this inconvenience. I checked out at 6am. Still have not received my folio after asking at the desk and calling twice after my...
Read moreStaying at The Guitar Hotel was nothing short of spectacular. The moment you arrive, the architectural brilliance of the towering guitar-shaped building sets the tone for an unforgettable experience. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and clearly proud to be part of such an iconic property.
My room was stunning—modern, luxurious, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The lighting, sound system, and touch-screen controls made everything effortless. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom felt like a private spa with its rain shower and soaking tub. Floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views, especially at night when the hotel’s exterior light show illuminated the sky.
The amenities are first class: the pool complex is resort-style perfection with palm trees, waterfalls, and attentive service. The casino offers endless entertainment, from gaming to live music, while the on-site restaurants rival the best in South Florida. I especially enjoyed dining at Council Oak—impeccable service and a steak cooked to absolute perfection.
Evenings at the Hard Rock are full of energy yet still feel polished and secure. The nightly guitar-light show is mesmerizing and a true landmark experience.
Overall, The Guitar Hotel is far more than just a place to stay—it’s a destination in itself. Whether for a romantic getaway, a celebration, or simply to indulge in luxury, this hotel delivers excellence at every level. I can’t...
Read moreIt's a beautiful hotel the restaurants are very good but very pricey the people are nice the workers are very nice but the problem is they are charging more for deposit and I don't think that's fair especially if you are an icon or X card player they are charging $150 for deposit now plus also the slot machines are definitely tight and the Seminole tribe family treats for workers very poorly with no good pay or bonuses they actually pay their children more money and the children don't even work for the casino very unfair. I think this will probably be my last time at the Hard Rock and I have a feeling that I will never stay here again because of how they treat their employees I wish Florida would push the Seminole tribe out of the Hard Rock and have another casino come in and take control and treat their workers way better play it'll never happen because they pay the State of Florida millions of dollars I wish the workers would all walk out on the same day and demand to...
