I didn’t expect Abiaka to meet the taste test standards. I’ve haven’t heard much about it, but people should definitely hear about it more.

Biscuits: The food was very delicious starting with the complementary biscuits very soft the texture moist and easy to bite into. Ironically, I’ve never been to red lobster however, I have tried their biscuits, pretty easy to try red lobster biscuits, and the biscuits here at Abiaka reminded me of red lobster biscuits. Everything was very well seasoned and cooked.
Fish fry: Which consists of market fish, caper, shrimp, and tartar sauce. I was actually shocked on how well seasoned this fine dining restaurant was. I can say this was extremely better than Choi, fine dining in Miami. The fish was salmon, it had nice texture a nice little crunch with the breaded around the salmon. The shrimp was delicious and the tartar sauce. I’m not a big fan of tartar sauce, but if I could buy this tartar sauce in stores and it taste just like this I would buy it. Overall, 5/5.
Cioppino: Consists of; Halibut, Maine Lobster, Crab, Shrimp, Clams, Mussels, Fingerling potatoes, and toast.
When I say, I I kept being surprised on how perfectly seasoned this food was. Definitely something I would suggest the stew was delicious they pre-cut the crab and the lobster for you. I kind of like that so I did not need a tool. I just loved everything about this feast. It was highly delicious. I would definitely recommend anyone to get this and I am not just saying this, because I am a lover of seafood. Overall: 5/5
Roasted Sweet potatoes: consists of Aioli and Spicy tomato sauce.
The only thing that I wasn’t a big fan of was the sweet, roasted potatoes, it’s supposed to be sweet, not salty. However, the sweet, roasted potatoes were very salty. Honestly, it was too salty. I took a bite and had to put it back. I didn’t even get to finish it, so I was kind of disappointed I didn’t enjoy that. Overall: 2/5
Summary:
I haven’t tried Council Oak yet, but I will put that on my list but so far this is definitely somewhere people should try. It’s very nice scenery beautiful view we can see the guitar and the pool. At night, the lighting is terrific. It gives a calm setting. Music playlist was very diverse, no complaints. I loved the variety. Javier was really nice, wish we appreciated him as our server definitely would recommend and...
Read moreFor the 50th wedding anniversary of my parents, we went to Abiaka restaurant last week, and I wish I wouldn't have. We spent over $1200 between 7 adults and 1 child, and I can say that any other restaurant would have done much better. The waiter offer us to order by the menu or to take the adventure, where each person would be asked about their likes and dislikes for food, so that they would make a menu for the table, unfortunately this didn't happen, the waitresses didn't ask everybody at the table what they wanted, she just took some recommendations, and left, we had the idea that they were making a menu for the table, witch is incorrect, they choose for the table from the menu, so is it not a special menu made for your table, since they forgot to ask everyone what they like they ended up bringing food that nobody wanted, first mishap was the ceviche, my girlfriend said she liked ceviche, but no one else at the table eats raw fish, so the two plates of ceviche had to be send back, after clearing this up, they brought salads that had some bad avocados (yes, partially black, tasted sawyer) and nobody could eat, something in it had an unusual texture, it just tasted really bad, not like a good salad at all. The next plate was meat, which was raw inside, we had asked for medium. When asked to cook a bit more, it came back to us like a roasted stick, completely burned black outside, really bad. The only good thing we were able to eat and enjoy were some potatoes they served. Then some sweet potatoes. At the end we were trying the deserts because we were all hungry, and believe it or not, we were asked to leave because they needed the table. My father mentioned he wanted to have another glass of wine and was not given the chance. The deserts were left on the table half way, and we honored their request to leave. It's a shame that at the end of the night, we found ourselves paying this bill and leaving the place hungry and heading to another restaurant. Abiaka Restaurant is a disaster and it was very upsetting the way we were treated, our complaints were directed to the chef and manager on site, who didn't do much about it. We as a family, DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant to anyone. Go anywhere else, for sure you'll eat better...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of celebrating Father's Day at a restaurant where Kerry, the general manager, provided exceptional service. It was a busy day, but Kerry went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was extraordinary.
From the moment I arrived, Kerry greeted me with a warm smile and made sure I felt welcomed. She was attentive throughout the entire meal, anticipating my needs and ensuring that everything was to my satisfaction. Her dedication to providing excellent service was evident and greatly appreciated.
What truly impressed me was when I mentioned my preference for a specific wine that wasn't available at the restaurant. Without hesitation, Kerry took it upon herself to go the extra mile. She reached out to a neighboring restaurant and arranged for the wine to be brought in just for me. I was blown away by her effort and the lengths she went to make sure I had the best possible experience.
Kerry attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond truly made my Father's Day celebration memorable. Her genuine care and dedication to customer satisfaction were evident in every interaction. It's not often that you come across someone who is willing to go out of their way to ensure your happiness, and Kerry certainly exceeded my expectations.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Kerry. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience with outstanding service, be sure to visit this establishment and let Kerry take care of you. You won't be...
