SO DISAPPOINTED!!!! Went for Sunday brunch today w/a group of 4 friends, and when I tell you I’m never coming here again for brunch.. I’m NEVER coming back.. first red flag 🚩 got to the restaurant at 1:30pm.. no one was inside. The 2nd was the brunch menu. $38.99 for a app, unlimited mimosas for an hour and a half, and an entree sounds good, but not when they pre mix the mimosas and add a bunch of ice in the cup.. all the brunches I’ve been to in my life, I’ve never had pre mixed mimosa, especially with ice.. it was so water down.. so we switched it up for some sangria, tasted good but hardly any fruit (which to me is the best part) and it wasn’t strong at all.. actually felt sober after that round. Now the food.. apps ehh was ok . Had one of each since they only had 3 options on menu. We all had steak and eggs.. I ordered sunny side up eggs with med steak and side of yuca fries. I had originally ordered a different side (malanga) and they told us they didn’t have anymore.. the steak came well done . And my eggs the same. Oh! And they put a weird brown gravy on my churrasco steak like if it’s a country fried steak.. it wasn’t that appetizing. Each one of us had ordered the same and they messed up all of our orders. We should of returned the food or gotten something else off the menu but we tried to make the best of it. It was a small brunch menu as well so not much options. They charge 18% for service charge already added so it was roughly $95 for 2 people. I don’t feel like it was worth the money. Especially when they messed up our orders & with how empty the restaurant was. The only thing that was good was the music. And to top it all off, as the restaurant starts to get full around 3pm.. the owner went & put the a/c to 90! (the table was next to thermostat & it was a hot day as is) over all I rate this a 3/10. I wouldn’t recommend this as a good...
Read moreWe got there while happy hour was going on but there was no one there. Columbia/Joshua was at the door, very friendly and willing to make sure we were welcomed to stay. We decided to walk around for a little. He let us know they have free parking behind the restaurant. There are limited spaces but there is also plenty of street parking. When we returned there was still no one there but we decided to stay anyways. Columbia provided the best customer service, some of the best that I’ve had in a very long time. And this is coming from someone who worked in hospitality. He made suggestions, was attentive, and very welcoming. The music playing was a vibe and he made sure that we were happy. The coconut margarita and Passionfruit margarita drinks were on happy hour. Both could have been better. The Passionfruit didn’t taste like Passionfruit and was kind of bitter. The coconut one was missing the creamy coconut flavor and we were told management decided to change the ingredients . Not the best drinks but not the worse. The monfonguito basket was sooo good. Highly recommend. Small but all packed so much flavor. I had the fried rice which was good and tried the pasta with the pink sauce with shrimp as an add on. I would say that they should give more shrimp and the portion size could have been better. It presents to be big because of the bowl but it’s a shallow dish. The hookah was on point. It was $30. Flavor was good and it was smooth. We got it refilled for $20 which I think is high. It is a bit pricey overall as my check was over $200 but I didn’t stick to just happy hour: All in all I would definitely come back as I hear this place gets packed and has a much different vibe at night. Ask for Columbia, he’s an...
Read moreI have ti give this place 2 stars its was absolutely the worse experience coming to labios. I’ve been here more than once but it was absolutely awful. We had my daughter’s birthday dinner there this Thursday. She has made reservations for 13 ppl. They only had one chef, and one waiter to serve us. The food took more than an hour. The drinks were too sweet no enough liquor especially for the price you pay $20 for a drink and can’t even get you buzzed. The food was not cooked enough. It was just a bad experience to be honest. I was very disappointed in them because I actually loved the place before. The meat was over cooked when asked for medium well it was burnt. When asked to take back because we weren’t going to eat it they said we had no choice but to pay. My daughter friends had to pay for a meal they didn’t want to eat. They didn’t want to make her a new one. Yeah no manager no one to speak too. It was just awful paying for service and not getting a good service or able to enjoy your food. I didn’t enjoy my food at all had to cancel my order for how long they were taking. If you know you are having a party of 13 be considerate to your employees and have 2 chefs and 2 or 3 waiters to help. But yeah not a place...
