This was my second time here. The first experience was great, which is why I decided to go back. This time, unfortunately, was not very good from a customer service standpoint. My friend and I got there shortly after 8:00pm. The waitress didn't even greet us but said the kitchen closes in 10 minutes. We were contemplating leaving, however, the manager told us to stay. We felt rushed and her attitude was definitely not helping. She was so dry with her responses and unpleasant. We could hear her asking her coworker if he was going to stay, only to see her walk out a few minutes later after she served us our salad. She didn't even tell us goodbye or that another person would be taking over, which I found disrespectful. Sammy, who took over, was pleasant so I'm grateful for that. It was my friend's birthday and that first waitress almost spoiled it with her attitude. Sammy made up for it (not knowing that it was my friend's birthday). When I asked him what time they closed, he told me 9:00pm. This made it even worse since the restaurant would have still been open on her shift, had the place been a bit more busy (it was just us and one other person who was there from before. Another table of two came in about 20 minutes after us). The food was very good like the first time. My friend had the pasta, but she said it tasted very milky. Maybe because they rushed it, it didn't get a chance to cook through. It eventually upset her stomach later that evening. I wanted dessert but as usual, didn't have the space for it lol. The menus are a bit outdated and need to be reprinted. The tables there are a pretty cool features. I would recommend this place for the food, and hopefully you will get a pleasant waiter/waitress. Thank you Sammy for letting the night end better than it started. Cheers!

I will never order from Sals again. We work very close to this location and order frequently there. We have had prior issues before and made the mistake to think each time was an isolated issue and won't be disappointed again. We ordered a NY silcilian pizza, which states it is thick cut square slices. This pizza costs more than the regular pizza. We waited over an hour for delivery and opened the pizza and it was a very thin pizza cut into small squares. There were a few of us eating this and it was smaller than a regular pizza. When I called sals, the manager first said that is the new dough they use. Then she said they ran out of the dough for the silcilian. I expressed that they should have contacted me before they made it to communicate that they ran out of the dough. I requested a refund and it was first told that I can get another pizza in a credit for next time. I declined and requested a refund. The girl would not give me a refund or her name but said she was the manager of Sals. She told me to call the delivery company for a refund. When I stated I wanted her to see the pizza in a photo, she admitted she knew what it looked like when they made it. The fact that she thought this was acceptable as a manager is horrible. The pizza itself was $25 and we ordered 6 garlic rolls. With the delivery fee, tip, and another service charge, the order total was $41.00. If anyone knows what a silcilian looks like, it's very thick squares. We even added to make the pizza well done. It was not well done. Very disappointing as the sizes of the squares was not enough for all of us. I gave up eating any so my coworkers could have enough. The pizza was greasy and was not sufficient to eat. Do better Sals.

Recipes have changed, you will taste it. Prices have gone up, you will notice. Service is still awful! House salad dressing good, ceasar ok, wings not worth it. Pizza ok, and Chicken parmesan good, used to be better before sauce change, plus my pasta and sauce were cold, but after waiting so long for food who would bother sending something back. Management really needs to reconsider the marketing in order to facilitate better service, quality, and more satisfied quests. The service system in place seriously need a complete overhaul just to scratch the service, but I'm sure they don't want to pay for all that training. This place if for you if your older, retired, have hours to spend on a mediocre meal at s more than price, when you don't feel like driving all the way to il mulino in fort Lauderdale which is way better and lunch will even costs much less but I digress. Also, would even order food to go to avoid dining experience if you offered curb side pick up.

What a terrible experience. Looking at other reviews and pics online, it looks like a great place to eat, very misleading when it comes to customer service... If I could give zero stars, I would. We are staying at a local hotel a few minutes from the restaurant. I called and got hung up on the first time...I shouldn’t have called back, but I did. The guy who took our order seemed like it may have been his first week on the job, no big deal, we’ve all been there. At 6:47 pm, I was told our delivery would be to us in 20-30 minutes. I ended up calling back at 7:55 pm after we had still not received our pizza. I was put on hold so the order taker could check on our order. A different person picked up the line and said that our pizza had not been made yet due to them being “busy, busy, busy” and that he would make our food right now and it would be to us in 10 minutes. I told him not to worry about the order due to us waiting so long already. We were getting our kids ready to walk to get some dinner elsewhere when I received a call back from the restaurant. It was a man named Gabriel who asked me if I was trying to cancel my order. I replied that I canceled it because the other employee told me it had not yet been made. Gabriel apologized and told me them being busy isn’t an excuse to put our food on hold. He told me that the driver had already gone out with our food and should be there momentarily. My husband and I gave them one last chance to get our pizza to us. We set a timer for 10 minutes and decided we would leave after that timer because if it took the 10 min, we knew that they were lying about the food being on its way already. (Google says the hotel is 7 min from Sals). So, the time passed and the timer went off. We were at McDonald’s when someone called, I let my husband answer because I was livid. Will not try to reorder next time we’re in town, I wanted it to be good so bad. But...
