I went for a year or two without visiting McDonalds, and then they introduced their Raspberry tea and got me hooked. Then I tried their Sweet Chili Chicken wrap, and suddenly I had a reason to start having lunch there.
Since then, I've made it into this location a few times a month, and had some good experiences, and some bad. The fries I've had in the evening are bitter, but during the lunch rush, they have been fine. Sometimes the chicken wrap is a complete mess, other times it's just right. Sometimes they mistakenly give me crispy chicken instead of grilled, but they have always replaced it when they get it wrong. I understand the kitchen is busy. I sometimes wonder if turnover is high here because I've been frequently served by cashiers that are still being trained.
All of that said, there are a few reasons I've been cutting back on my visits:
"Fries in the Tea" - I once found chunks of food in the bottom of my tea. They appeared to be pieces of fries. The top of the tea dispenser was open and I told myself some dumb kid probably threw them in. Yes, I've gone back for tea since then, a little more cautious now, and haven't had an issue since.
"Chicken-whatever-wrap" - A cashier said that to me when reading back my order. So I made sure to repeat it back to her -- but as I expected, my order was incorrect. McD's fixed it, but left me thinking "come on, at least pretend like you care".
"Please, please buy our steakhouse burger" - recently a cashier was pushing steakhouse burgers to meet a quota for the week, and she was really pushy about it. Even after telling her I didn't want it. I caved, and decided if this ever happens again, I'm just walking out.
"the bacon incident" - I avoid eating any pork products, and was recently disheartened to get a chicken bacon wrap instead of what the usual that I ordered. McD's replaced it with no issues, but it got me thinking hard about life, and how it may just be better if I avoided this McD's.
...Maybe until they get their...
Read moreJust THE MIST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ever at this McDonalds. Do yourself a favor and just keep going the road and choose some other place!! Ordered the new 2pc Spicy SnackWrap meal. And a Spicy McChicken. The place seemed as busy as you’d expect at 9:30pm, a few people inside and several cars in the drive thru. I had ordered on the app, waited a few minutes and went in. Had to continue waiting for probably between 10 and 15 minutes for my order to be called out. Guy set my bag on the counter and walked away, without offering me the large cup for my drink, so I had to wait for one the kids working to acknowledge I was standing there and give me a cup. Go to the fountain area, no tea containers out, so rather than have to wait again for someone to get my drink at the drive thru, I decided to just get a Coke. Now there’s no large lids stocked, so BACK to the counter and wait to be acknowledged. A teenager finally notices me, and I hear him say to who I guess was the shift leader, there’s someone at the counter. She tells him ‘we’ll go ask him how you can help him’. He comes up, I tell him about no lies stocked at the fountain, he goes over to the drive thru and comes back and hands me about 8 large lids, and asks ME to go put them where they belong!!!! REALLY??!!!! So I do, and leave. Drive back to my job…start to take food out of the bag and eat, and then I get really PISSED!!! My large fries are cold and most likely are left over from the main dinner rush, and the McChicken was cold as well, and very dried out! The 2 Spicy SnackWraps were good, could have been a bit warmer temperature wise, but they were nowhere as cold and stale as the fries and McChicken.
The management here, as well as the franchise owner needs to be made aware of the lack of customer service and food quality that their employees are sending out to customers.

Read moreI originally give this place a one star due to our first visit. We are from out of town and made a stop at the Holts Summit McDonald’s for lunch. When I walked in they were not busy and had only one other person eating at one of their tables. We ordered a Big Mac and Quarter Lb with fries. We decided to eat in since we still had a long drive to our destination. Trying to find a clean table was a challenge since every table we came across had either food or drink spills on table tops. Once seated we had to wait for food longer than usual since we had not made any special request. When order came out we began to eat; after finishing half of my Big Mac sandwich I noticed it seemed different and looked inside to find one hamburger patty not two hamburger patties which usually comes with a Big Mac. That was a first and decided not to big deal and finished our meal then left.
Several days later we decided to try this place again to give another try. Ordered breakfast this time and had their sausage egg muffin. No problems this time and the place seemed cleaner. I believe there was a manager on staff then because she was making sure tables were cleaned and orders came out faster. When we were there the first time I did not see a manager so maybe the staff had more of a lackadaisical approach when not supervised. This place needs a good manager to keep staff accountable and seemed to be running smoother on our return. Not sure when we will be back but glad the second time was better than our first time.
Bathrooms were not as tidy but were efficient. Baby changing station in...
