Chiko’s Tavern — Restaurant in Honolulu

I’ve never been here before they remodeled but the new place looks great! There’s lots of tables and booths. They have 2 dart boards and a pool table! Awesome service and they have karaoke! Kind of a hidden spot, right next to that mccully buffet parking lot area. I always have an amazing time when I go here! It feels more like a gay bar and that makes it more special because there’s not much gay bars in hawaii. I highly recommend chikos for everyone! They also serve food as well!

A small local bar, but not necessarily fully a dive bar. Though the bar itself has limited seating, there is abundant table-and-booth arrangements. Also, there is a karaoke machine at the bar that is connected to the bar-wide speaker system. Beer selection is pretty standard with a selection of East Asian and mainland US brews (Kirin, Lagunitas, Heineken for instance). The drinks are weak, in our several experiences. We used to like the food but after I saw how dirty the bathroom was, I won't eat there again. All that crud on the back of the toilet was removable by wiping, but the toilets literally aren't cleaned, I guess. Very nice wait staff... But if I don't want to eat, drink or pee there, it's a 1...
