I am a local community lead who endorses local businesses and markets. My last 3 trips in this Times , I have purchase rotten fruit, moldy cheese and expired bread. We trust that your products are quality. I must take responsibility for I guess not checking every product before the cashier bags. See how crazy that sounds. It's impossible to catch it when someone else is bagging. It is the responsibility of business to provide fresh, rotated and quality driven products. We are in an age of knowing. Our businesses and management should know for a fact that the products they are selling are up to quality. Please advise you produce, diary and bread staff of the importance of rotating products, pulling expired products or otherwise. They need to use their senses to determine if the product they are putting out are safe for customers. Additionally, near the juice and milk cooler there is a rotted smell . This store is dirty and needs to be cleaned. Today is 9/26/23 and I went today and sure as the days are long. Expired bread on the shelves. This is your notice to step it up. If I experience one more expired or moldy product not only will I report this business but I will post photos , write reviews or whatever is needed to assist your business in the understanding of keeping fresh and up to date products. Furthermore when I ask for a manager on duty I have received the run around every time. I am absolutely a kind soul but I'm also a protector of the community and its people. Note that I have been there despite the incident which shows this is not for malice. I am writing this review to call action to resolve this matter...

But while most others have gone the way of rewards and discounts with cards, Times advertises with coupons to clip. You can decide for yourself if that is good or bad for you. Personally, I like a card.
A good thing the Times I visited has is very reasonably priced plate lunches six days a week. The portions are generous, and they come with a choice of three sides and a can of soda.
The negative part of my experience was offhand, inattentive service from the checkout clerk, who entered the wrong high school to get my points and the woman behind the lunch counter who got the salad dressing wrong for the man ahead of me, and then forgot mine altogether. And no one was especially warm or friendly.
I shop there mainly because it is the closest store to where I live.
Addendum August 25, 2020:
You can now get their email and download ads and coupons. The clerk can scan the barcodes at the register, which is a lot easier than clipping and shuffling pieces of paper.
Their deals are sometimes...
Read moreOne the oldest supermarkets I have been in. This particular location has probably been around since the 1950's and it appears as if it has never been updated or renovated Everything in the store looks ancient just because of it's nostalgic layout which makes shopping feel unpleasant. An example is the extremely narrow entrance where customers with shopping carts try to enter and exit at the same time. To make it more challenging, a bank machine is placed in the entryway causing more congestion for store patrons and bank customers. I'm surprised that this establishment has not yet been cited for any emergency or fire evacuation...
