It’s one of the few Karaoke bars on island where you can either have a private booth or be in with the general public, singing, eating, and drinking while you take turn singing songs.
Private Rooms are $40/hr & 60/hr depending on size and you pay $1 per song. Reservations are recommended. The hourly fee is waved as long as you and your group collectively spend money on food and drink as what the room is worth. Example: Group spends $200 on food and drink, you have 5 hrs or 3 hrs depending on the size of the room. You cannot bring your own food but you can bring your own desserts and cutlery. Volume for microphone and music can be controlled from the room.
When singing with the General population, the songs are free. Only complaint about being in the public area is that the music is sometimes too loud.
Bar and bartender are great. Wide selection of alcohol and the bartender knows how to make a good Ol’ Fashioned.
Most importantly, music catalog. It’s an encyclopedia of decades of music and every genre. There’s even a section dedicated to Hawaiian music.
Theres only about 10 parking spots so prepared to either park in the surrounding neighborhood...
Read moreA cute dive bar frequented by locals who love to karaoke (especially kupunas singing their oldies) which I find super charming and local for pau hana. Throughout my time there the songs kept coming so not for those who want to have a quiet drink at the bar. The food options are Korean and Hawaiian food which is comforting after a long day. There is plenty of parking at the lot.
If you come with a party there is a private room you can use too which requires minimum charge and a separate karaoke machine. All karaoke is $1 per song. It's also not crazy busy so staff are not overwhelmed and all patrons cheered and sang along to the songs. It's a really cute place if that's the kind of vibe you are...
Read moreBy far my favorite Karaoke place on the island. The drinks come quick and are reasonably priced. The waitresses are all very friendly (and very attractive as well). You can choose to sing in one of their many karaoke rooms, or join with other patrons in the main bar for group karaoke. The songs are $1 each and they have a very wide variety. I always love to sing the local songs on the blue pages. They also have a very deep food menu with lots of local favorites with specials on the munchies and drinks...
