J. Dolans — Restaurant in Honolulu

I have been searching for 2 years on this rock for quality pizza. I was raised in buffalo N.Y and i am judgemental on pizza and wings. Number 1 pizza, i will say quality ingredients!!! Pizza is amazing; however, to thin and as a 205lb man, i can crush a full pizza myself again the quality is there and by far the best pizza, just needs more dough to fill yah up...its business i understand. When i say its the best it is..places like bostons does not compare. Now, lets talk wings, offered as a side...they only offer 1 flavor and not even buffalo. LET ME TELL YOU...hands down the best fried wings on this dam rock... lol they dont need sauce...so addicting...slight spice but doesnt burn the pallet...crunchy...by far their best product and my god its a piece of heaven for a guy from the east coast...in short...best pizza but needs to bulk up...wings if you dont need sauces and you wont....trust me get these!!...service is awsome...goodluck on parking...the lot down the street is small, but possible...love the bartender takes pride in dress and service...great place and enjoy the best that i have found on this island...fyi there is a reason why there is a line outside past 530pm... oh and J Dolans, can we fix the ranch???? Or blue cheese??? Needs work...much...

Not happy with the server. I had a hungry 6 year old with me, and she brought her food last. She blamed us for not asking to split the check before, even though it was obvious we were a larger group and would need that. After reluctantly splitting the checks up, she got me my check last. She also added gratuity onto each one of the separated checks. So, to what trick us into double tipping her? I understand it's not a place kiddos frequent, but on a slow Sunday night, use common sense. Serve the hangry kids first please and don't try to scam customers for double tips. If its a larger group (as in more than 5) ask upfront when taking order if they need the check split. We would have tipped her more if she didn't force upon us what we should tip. I don't normally give bad reviews, waitress gigs aren't for everyone! I sure as heck never could do it, no tray holding skills. Kid did at least enjoy her pizza when she finally got it though. Just work on that servers...

Security at the door is awesome. Very friendly and efficient at what hes there for. Constantly checked in with us on the time frame of the wait, that made us feel like he was really keeping and eye out as we waited next in line outside. Service was busy, but our server was Great. She continued to check on us during our visit but she manned quite a bit of tables on her own so you just have to be patient. Food here is amazing, that, that you cant beat. Paper plates and ask for extra napkins. A fun atmosphere and just a good experience to have with friends. Table tops couldve been cleaned better and on our way out we saw under our table. The previous party had thrown up on the floor, mutiple shot glasses under the table. Not sure how long it had been under the table as they are so busy.
