Ordered an acai bowl for breakfast and employee sent me to self kiosk (which i didn’t mind) but at the kiosk and it was not the smoothest of processes but after placing my order I went up to the counter just to let the employee know that i wanted more banana instead of coconut (because the kiosk wouldn’t let me customize) and she then proceeded to tell me they don’t have coconut to which i replied “oh thats perfect!” and then she said “but i can’t add banana unless you pay for it” i didn’t want to pick a fight so i just let it be, but it just upset me that I am paying full price for an acai bowl which is supposed to come with coconut flakes (it is in the toppings list) and they don’t have it (which is fine i don’t want them anyways) but on top of that when i asked to sub the coconut flakes with banana they said i have to pay for that. Apparently, she was in the middle of a personal phone call with her husband and they were working out their relationship. My very large order had interrupted her conversation. Instead of ending the call she continued her call on speaker phone as she tried to fill my order. She was so focused on her call, she asked a worker to help her before he clocked in to work. Her exact words, "Hey (employee name), I know you didn't clockin yet but can you help me finish this order?" He helped and she continued her call. And she didn't even know if the bowl that I ordered had any honey, come on I'm the customer it's their job to know their products, I need to know what I'm serving as a dining room server so I would expect the same as I go to any kind of food service places.
