I visited this restaurant as part of a family road trip because it seemed appealing according to Google maps. While the service and experience were excellent, the food itself was expensive, bland, and over-salted. We entered at a busier time, during dinner rush the night before Independence Day. It’s absolutely worth noting that the service was still very professional and attentive throughout the complete experience. The tables were also clean and well laid out—seating our group of 10 was not a challenge. We found our first issue with the value. Whereas Google showed $10-20, this is pretty much impossible with the dinner menu, especially with a suitable tip considered. It’s hard to find anything substantial on the menu listed less than $18 or so. The fact that the meal ended up being smaller than most restaurants like this left us feeling like we spent more than we should have, especially considering the food. The cuisine itself was mediocre and you could make better food at home with not much effort. The consensus around the table was that the food was pretty salty and bland. Additionally, the Ixtapa Burrito that I ordered didn’t have any vegetables inside it, just rice, beans, and chorizo (which I requested for protein). It was adorned with salsa, sour cream, and guac, but those didn’t really make up for the lack of fillings. Where’s the lettuce? Pico? Sautéed onions and peppers? I wholeheartedly believe that anyone could make significantly better food in their home kitchen with little effort, and because of that I’m inclined to give it a 2/5 rating. However, due to outstanding service and welcoming atmosphere, I think I can justify 3/5 overall.

Good food, service, and ambiance. My family and I are regular customers. I have yet to not enjoy my experience here. I stopped by recently (Mothers Day) for lunch with my wife. I had the shrimp fajitas and my wife had a combination plate including a tamale and enchilada. They were both quite good. We had dessert too, flan and deep fried ice cream. I had the latter and it was just ok. Did not taste freshly made, and the fact that we got our desserts within a few minutes tells me they were simply plated and brought out to us. Understandable with the flan but not as much with the deep fried ice cream. Did they just pull it out of a box in the freezer? A tiny bit disappointing but not enough to knock off a star. We were still quite satisfied with the overall experience, as we always are. I would (one item from their dessert menu withstanding) recommend this place.

Place is nice and clean great atmosphere but horrible food and service. I'll just spell it out from the moment I walked through the door the cashier person/hostess pretty much stuck her nose up at me and when I asked to seat in the bar area she flung my menu up on top of the bar and walked away. From that moment I grabbed my menu and sat down at one of the booths there not a great way to greet someone. Server came and took my drink order Jack Daniels and just a caution those thinking about ordering a drink here don't. One shot of Jack Daniels is 14 dollars I couldn't believe it you can get these for $2 happy hour in Salem Oregon a whole bottle of Jack Daniels cost $16.95 and here they're charging $14 for one shot absolutely ridiculous. I had ordered two and the second one tasted really funny like as if they didn't have enough Jack Daniels so they mixed it with something else I don't know or maybe it was bad ice but it did not taste like Jack Daniels. Okay so anyways I ordered my food and when it came out which was the Friday special fish tacos I couldn't believe what I saw. Two fish tacos the fish was way over fried hardly any meat under the batter. And that's it that's all you get is the tortilla and the deep fried fish. No fixings to go along with that. They don't serve it with a lemon wedge like fish should be served which was very surprising. Also you get a little side of ranch. Fish tacos don't come with ranch it comes with tartar sauce no clue what these guys were thinking but just absolutely horrible food. The chips they bring out at the beginning we're really awful along with the water down salsa. I will never be back to this place. It is a beautiful building and beautiful interior and dining kept very well clean however the food and the...

My family and I have ate here quite often. Unfortunately lately we have been there the last couple times and i didnt get what i ordered. I told the waitress and she took my plate. Well when the bill came the food was still on the check. After the waitrezs said she wouldnt charge me. I asked for the managaer and the lady was extreamly rude and wanted to charge me anyways. She straight up told me well oreder whats on the menu then. I was furious. I was not going to pay for something that i didnt order. My plate was not wht i oredered and it was not good. The manager was extreamly rdue and very arrogant! I felt really disrespected. I tried to explain to her that we usually eat all the time there. She was araogant enough to say that their restaurant was best in the gourge. At the same time telling me to order whats on the menu. I have never felt so disrepected and belittled especially from a manager. I do not recommend going here. Like i said it used to be great. Now not so much! rude manager!!!!! The waitress was even saying that what i ordered wasnt uncommon in mexican food. I dont understand what happened to this place. Feels like the management doesnt care about...
