I would not give this place even 1 star. I called all day trying to place an order for a large gathering (100-150 people). No one would answer the phone. I wanted to call another place but my boss wanted KK for the party.... I DROVE to this place and stood in line. When my turn came I explained that I wanted to put in a large order, pay by credit card, and someone would pick it up the next day between 12 and 4 PM. The young man did not know how to do this so I waited while he went to ask someone else. A woman came, listened and said I had to talk to the manager. Again I waited. At least 10 more minutes passed. I counted 13 people that I could see. 1 running drive thru, 1 packing donuts for customers, and 1 ringing them out. Every one else was standing around in groups talking to one another. Hmmmm.... Finally the manager came. Listened to what I wanted then said I needed to talk to another manager. I explained that I called their order number but no one answered. The young man said the manager is never in the office to answer the phone. What? While waiting for the next manager I moved over to look at the donuts. PLOP! Water fell on my head! I looked up to see water dripping from a vent. I looked down to see I was standing in a puddle on the ceramic brick floor. I went to the nearest clerk and told her about the leak and the water on the floor. She said " I'll let them know" but never moved-just stood there. I went to another clerk and explained that water on the floor posted a danger and was a liability issue. He said Ok. Thank you and continued standing behind the counter. Finally the manager who can take a bulk order took my name, company name phone number, types, amounts of donuts and told me how much they would cost. Told me to pay when they were picked up. The next day Angela went to pick up the order. No one would wait on her even though they had no customers. While waiting she noticed the same leak I had seen and water all over the floor. No warning sign to alert customers of the fall hazard!! After at least 20 minutes waiting she left without any one acknowledging her presence. We sent on of our men back to get the donuts. They waited on him immediately AND sold him the donuts for $3 less per dozen. REALLY? We have convinced our boss that we do not need donuts--at least not these donuts. There is a family-owned local donut store right down the street. They have been there 40 years, have fantastic donuts and know how to keep...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe parked and went inside the store this time. It was not really busy at the drive thru but we like going inside when we want to see what else they have besides regular glazed doughnuts. Nobody else was ahead of us getting anything just us. There was 5 employees standing right around the front counter and another employee at the drive thru taking an order. One if the employees was standing at the counter. When we walked up to the counter nobody greeted us nobody as us if they could help us no to hing. As I we just to stood there at the doughnut case and watched as everyone if them acted like we were invisible and was not there. As a matter of fact the woman looked at us turned around and walked over to the drive thru window and started helping the drive thru employee fill her order. Finally one if the ones came up and ask could he help us. He was friendly but was one who walked off when we was waiting to have our order taken. One employee from the back that had been busy over at the machine saw us standing there waiting and he came all the way from the back and stopped what he was working on to ask us if he could help us. I wish I had gotten his name because he deserves recognition for paying attention to his customers and making sure they were waited in as soon as he saw them. Anyway we finally got our order after having to tell the guy who had already taken our order what we wanted 3 different times. And I was ok with that but I was ok with standing and waiting while the employees acting like we were invisible and like we wasn't standing at that counter. What should have been a 5 minute purchase took 15 minutes to get because no one we would take our order. I guess it's more important to talk to your co workers and help another coworker fill her order then to wait on a customer who stood at the counter for 10 minutes to get there order taken. I don't understand that kind of customer service. Listen I don't know what employees don't understand about the customers coming in that store are the ones paying your paycheck. No customers no paycheck and no job. I understand customer service I myself work in a convenience store and I work with the public everyday and i would never look at a customer waiting to be checked out and turn and leave like they were not standing there. That customer is the reason I have that job. I treat my customers exactly how I want to be tested no matter what kind of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have hesitated to write the following review before trying them again, again, again, and again. Foolish me! I have driven out of my way after work, hoping that they would have my husband's favorite, chocolate iced doughnuts. They never have them when I have gone. They had the chocolate iced with sprinkles. The last set of doughnuts purchased and I purchased a dozen; I made it home, looked at them because they seemed off, they were somewhat flat, the taste was not right, my family tasted them and my oldest son said, "THIS is sad..." He has never ever complained about Krispy Kreme doughnuts. They were so bad till we just chose to give them away and I was out of twenty something dollars. Not only have I driven out of my way after a hard days work, but the time waiting in the line is a bit much. My cost for the purchase goes up due to the gas being utilized. Yes, I could go inside, but when I have, I found myself upset due to the lack of customer service. It is best for me to stay in my car to order. I have taken into consideration how loved the business is, but I also know that when you are as famous, a way to deliver items and not always be out should change. I did have an extremely kind person at the window the last time. He has a wonderful smile and a great personality. Most of the time when I have gone, the person does not deliver the type of customer service one would expect after such a long wait. I stayed away for half a year before and now I will stay away from this particular Krispy Kreme for a good few months. I did not desire to write such a review. I truly hope that someone will read my review and realize that I would just appreciate the following: *Quicker service in drive-thru *Chocolate iced doughnuts being available *Consistent service with a smile *More support possibly for the staff because there must be a breakdown somewhere. *For someone to realize that for the many people who sit and wait while losing gas, they really crave Krispy Kreme so why not begin to do better. This has gone on long enough in my opinion. Over two years to be exact. The one on Hwy 280 does not deliver too slowly from my experience. I am not driving out of my way...
