Taco Bell — Restaurant in Hoover

UPDATE October 2023. I have been back to this Taco Bell since the dire days of summer when their service, cleanliness and overall experience was so poor I gave them 2 stars. I have been a few times in the past month and all is much improved! The staff on today could not have been more friendly, helpful, and professional. A great experience overall. For fast food I enjoy Taco Bell for the variety and fresh ingredients. Fair is fair - this Taco Bell has really cleaned up their act and is a pleasure to visit.

July 2023. I enjoy Taco Bell and their food, having eaten at their restaurants countless times both here in the US and also in the UK. While the food is quickly delivered here and the quality is ok (what you would expect from fast food) ... this is one of the dirtiest Taco Bell's I have ever seen. Today the floor was filthy, trash was everywhere, and the restroom looked like it had been vandalised. In fact, the entire place looked like it had just been ransacked! It was terrible. I have noticed this every time I've been to this location but today was the worst. In fact it made me worry about the cleanliness in the kitchen when I see premises this badly maintained. Last night I took a break to go get something to drink. I stopped at Taco Bell because I know they have Gatorade. The drive-thru line is long so I go in because there are no customers inside. Walk inside and I see atleast 4 employees in the back. Noone is at any of the registers, and I was not greeted. I look over to my right and there are kiosks for me to make my order. I make my order and pay for my soda. Then I walk to the counter because they don't have cups out. I stood there for about two minutes. Mind you there is an employee who saw me walk in and make my order and saw me walk up to the counter. She did not say anything to me. She kept talking to her coworker about an order. I had to say, "Excuse me. Can I get a cup. I just ordered a soda and I need a cup." She asked the name on the order and then gave me a cup. She was nice enough but I feel like she wouldn't have come over if I continued to stand there. I get it. It was a little busy, but there is no excuse for not acknowledging customers when they come into...

This Taco Bell is so bad it's actually hilarious. The first two times I went here, they completely screwed up my orders. They were very apologetic and wanted to make it right. They get points for that. Then, they promptly messed up my next order. I asked the person at the window, "Is everything in the bag?" He replied, "Yes, of course." Well, "of course" it was wrong. Due to their incompetence, I quit going there until last night. We were traveling down 119 and my daughter had a craving for Taco Bell. I didn't feel like driving down Valleydale Road or further down 280. Much against my better judgment, we stopped in the never-right Taco Bell. I knew it was going to be trouble when they had the "Dining Room Open" sign lit up, yet the doors were locked. Anyway, we waited in the drive-thru line. As part of our order, we requested "No Onions." You can almost guess what happened. When we got home, everything was FULL of onions. We threw the stuff away and...
