I was unfortunate enough to be hungry last night. Upon pulling up to the speaker for the drive through, I was not even greeted by a friendly "how may I help you". The woman on the headset made it seem like I was interrupting her day. Service not starting off on a high note, but I figured maybe she was on the tail end of her shift and just wanted to go home. Whatever. Upon pulling up to the window, however, that's when I was severely disappointed. I counted out my money beforehand. My order total was 12.68. I counted out 22.70 so I could receive $10 back. She handed me $7. Again... Late in the shift, maybe, just please fix it. So, I told her I counted out the money so I would get a $10 bill and be on my way. What does she do, you ask? She hands me the rest in change. The same change I gave her. I didn't think it would be beyond question to ask for 1 single bill instead of 10 lbs of change. So, I went in to talk to the manager. I explained what happened. I thought it might be some kind of joke for the internet. She told me that the woman in the drive through gave me the correct change. My jaw dropped at that point. I just explained to her that it wasn't the amount that was the problem. It was the complete lack of respect for a customer. I get that you don't want to believe that your employees are in the wrong, even for something so trivial, but it's a real slap in the face. She gave me my $10 bill, only after 5 minutes of arguing. It seems as though the only person who gave a damn was the young cashier working the register. Unreal. Avoid this particular store at all costs until they learn how to treat people with a modicum of respect. I thought Wendy's was alot better than this. Read moreWe came here super late to them because they had already closed the dining room. I really hate these COVID procedures. I wanted to just chill and sit down with my family and eat, drink and be merry. But instead I was able to download the app, make an account and order way before the drive thru window asked for our order. I don't know if it's because of the only two employees we saw in there or because they had only one cashier and we all had to wait in line. Needless to say I wasn't very happy by the time I ordered. However...
Once I got to the window the lady was so polite and apologized for the wait. We talked a bit and I asked her a few questions. I ended up donating to the cause for a free Wendy's small frosty anytime I order. I just had to buy the plastic card to show it each time.
I would normally give a place like this way below a three star but I'm leaving it at two just because of the staff inside here. I truly appreciate their support and like the fact they treated me like a human and I treated them as such too. I don't think they have a choice on opening the dining room. Either corporate or the owner themselves do and I'm not a fan of that policy. They really should have just let us enter. I mean I get it they don't want to have to track everyone if it's just the two of them but my experience includes a chance at sitting in the dining room and I was robbed if it (I know I could probably use better wording). I just hope during the spring and summer they start allowing it otherwise I refuse to do any business here and I hope you do too. I want to tell these big chains we deserve better and so do...
Read moreWent through the drive thru and ordered a baked potato for my daughter plus bacon cheeseburger, cheese fries, sodas and frostys.....they tell me to pull up and wait for the potato.....ok no problem.....20 mins goes by and finally someone comes out and says 5-10 more mins for the potato.....I said ok but I hope my other food is going to be hot????? Oh yes it will be!!!! So 10 mins later this kid comes out and says another 10 mins.....I said where is your manager bc t his is ridiculous and I've been sitting here for over 40 mins.....I asked are u going to give me something for all this waiting time???? He said hold on and let me ask my manager??? So he comes back and says she said yea..... So another 10 mins goes by and the me finally comes out and says the potato isn't gonna be ready for another hour!!!!! I said WHAT!!!!! After all this time u had me sitting out here and now u tell another hour???? So I told her to put it in the microwave or something or give it to me and I'll do it when I get home.......so she goes in cooks the potato and comes back out with just the potato and says I gave u a cookie for all the waiting u did (almost an hour for a stale cookie!!!!!!) I said a cookie for all this time and aggravation???? Plus where the hell is the rest of my other food????? Of yea....she comes back with the bag and $2 for the potato!!!!! Yippee!!!!!
