Not a good experience!
Toward the end of our meal about six workers started watching our group. This went on for awhile and we tried to overlook it because we weren't doing anything wrong that we knew of. Finally three workers came over to our table to tell us that it was dinner time and what we were eating was dinner and that we would be charged dinner price. The price wasn't an issue, we were aware of the prices before we went. After we were told this, we continued to be watched by employees there and it was very uncomfortable. We were there as a birthday celebration and all of the human surveillance definitely killed our mood. We were not loud or disturbing at all but the way the employees were watching us and speaking in their native tongue as they watched us was rude in my opinion. When I was given the ticket, there were charges for our toddlers. We were told that ages 3 and younger were free and when I asked about this at the checkout counter the cashier appeared to get upset that I asked and told me that it wasn't true. I showed him the employee that told me and she came over there and told him and he still said no. Then he said, once again go get the manager. The manager didn't come so he told me that he would take one toddler off the check. I told him that I thought it was rude for the staff to be watching our table and that it made us uncomfortable and that we were told that the children would be free and that I was disappointed and that we would not be back. The cashier never even acknowledged that I was talking. He never looked up at all. Just gave me the receipt and said thank you and I told him that I would not be back. This is not the best place in town to eat at all. The food is mediocre and sometimes cold. I would not recommend this place to...
Read moreA friend decided to treat us out when my wife got off work at 3:00. Admittedly ,I was a little skeptical , it was 3:00 ..they're not going to be busy ,the food is not going to be fresh. I wasn't immediately wrong but fresh food was always coming out. I enjoyed pretty much everything on the buffet... Lots of variety. One of the few things on the buffet that wasn't labeled tasted like breaded chicken covered in peanut butter.. I was in love. They had some thinly cut slices of buffet steak... Chewy but very well seasoned .very delicious..
Looks like they decided to scrap the hibachi idea sometime ago because while the vent hoods are still there it's just boxes of storage... No biggie, there's plenty of hibachi places in town.
Atmosphere 4/5 ... Honestly it just felt like you're in an old casino dark everything just enough accent lighting to break up the monotony of the place. If you lived here for a while , this felt and was set up like the old Kings buffet. But the AC was decent and it seemed clean enough.
Service 4.5/5 It's a buffet so all they need to do is bring you drinks , which they did pretty well.
Food 4.75/5. They actually have the sushi labeled and what was in it.. not being well versed in sushi I truly appreciated this.
Lots of food on the buffet, what tried I can't think of anything I didn't like.... The ice cream set up was probably the only weak link it was containers of ice cream for you to scoop out of and pretty sure through kids or adults not closing the lid that some had thawed and refrozen a few times.
I regret not coming here before, and look forward to trying it...
Read moreMy family and I are from out of town. My husband works in the area for now. I checked lots of reviews before choosing to dine in here. The food was good. Not above average like most reviews had stated. The sushi was definitely not good. Idk if maybe there’s not a decent sushi place around here or what. But the reviews stating the sushi was great was a sell for me and I was disappointed. The customer service was horrible!! We had to ask for drink refills. First I dropped a cup of sauce at the sushi bar so I asked for a rag so I could clean my mess. I don’t think they spoke much English. But I never got a smile or a thank you. Just an annoyed look. Then I had to go to the front counter and when I got the guys attention(bc he’s fave was in his phone) he gave me an eye roll with a shoulder shrug and a look that made it very obvious I was bothering him. Fast forward. We had just gotten our second plate of food and the waiter brings the check. My husband said he wasn’t ready for it but the guy insisted he take it. He then stood there. My husband asked so you need it now?? He said yes. He then started clearing plates he had done let pile up and even grabbed up the plate my husband was still eating out of. My husband told me watch he won’t come back after this. He went and made another plate. We finished dinner then got dessert and the waiter...
