I gave this hotel two stars because the staff was very nice and welcoming. However, my sister and I were so disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. The first room they gave us had the door propped open when we went to unpack. The cleaning lady told us that it smelled like blood in there and she was airing it out and to go and request another room. We appreciated that. So they assigned us another room and there was blood stains on the sheets and pillow, there was trash on the floor when we walked in, the bathtub has pink slime and black mold on it, and we found a lot of black hair all over the walls and counters of the bathroom (my sister and I are blonde). I told the front desk employees and they were very apologetic and said they will send someone in the morning for a full service cleaning. I was happy with that. We went that night and got Lysol wipes, hand soap, Lysol spray, and flip flops to wear in the shower, and cleaned the room ourselves until the cleaning staff could come in the next morning. Much to our dismay, when we got back to the hotel from our busy day the next afternoon, no one had come and cleaned the room. I went downstairs and the lady at the desk was apologetic and said that the cleaning staff had checked it off that they had cleaned it. I informed her they did not. The hotel was booked up and they had no available double queen beds left. They offered a king with a pullout couch, but I didn’t trust the cleanliness of the pullout couch, so I declined. I asked that someone please come in and do a full service and she assured me someone would be in that next morning since the staff was gone for the day. I even showed her the pillow with blood splatter and she agreed she would not want to sleep on that. She was kind enough to give me a new pillow. The staff did come the next morning, but the bathtub had not been cleaned and the blood stained sheets and pillow were still there. They just made the beds and put new towels in the bathroom. Disappointed and disgusted is an understatement. I have stayed in so many Hilton’s and this was by far the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We were promised that the manager Patel would give us a call and we have heard nothing yet. After this experience, I will be having second thoughts about staying in any...
Read moreOn a 3000-mile trip, we decided that we'd mainly stay in Hilton Suites2homes or The Hampton Inn, as we had pets with us and would need more than two rooms, nightly. A $75 nightly fee per/pet which is not a recoupable fee is mandatory. Traveling with multiple cats is a task in itself. It is a one-time non-redeemable expense. One can pay hundreds of dollars before even paying for one's room. We had two rooms booked, as I believe their cap is at 2 dogs/cats per room. They do offer a free breakfast and have some of the nicest young ladies working in the reception area. Christina, Kristen, and the cleaning staff were so polite. The rooms were quite nice, and most of the Hilton Suites2Homes rooms are all quite similar to The Hamptons rooms. They have a lovely entry and foyer with coffee/tea/and lemonade available. They have some abstract art on the wall which was a bit busy. They had snacks and cold beverages for sale, as well as some microwaveable foods for purchase. Each room was equipped with a microwave/and refrigerator. They had nice lighting fixtures, which were modern and equipped with rod iron. I liked them. They provide hot water, caffeinated coffee, and decaffeinated ( light roast and dark roast). They offer a free breakfast from 6 a.m.-10 a.m. They had a pool outside which was closed, and covered. On the ground floor, they have restrooms for men and women. Both restrooms offer additional support for those who are wheelchair-bound. Check-in is listed as 3 p.m. and checkout is at 11:00 a.m. They were quite willing to offer a late check-out, although I'd recommend tipping the cleaning staff. They have sufficient parking and offer additional parking if you are a Diamond member. The water fountain on the entry floor is capable of refilling water bottles. They had a small welcome food basket for Hilton Honors Members although they seemed to be out when we were present. They had an area in which the activities nearby were showcased. We chose one of them for the next morning for our son. They had activities for the lakes, panning for diamonds, as well as climbing a large observation tower. The beds were comfortable, and, again I'd like to emphasize the kind and...
Read moreIt was poor because it seems like this hotel had been run through. The staff quoted me a much higher price in person than over the phone . The room did not smell fresh to me at all plus I noticed a big gap in the door after I had locked the deadbolt lock. I did not get a good night’s sleep because I was worried about the crack in the door being pried open. Plus the walls are paper thin and when I was in the bathroom I could hear other guest in their room talking. All night long I could hear doors being slammed and other people talking in the hallway. On top of all of that, they are not serving breakfast at this time due to Covid19. Wished the clerk would have told me prior to checking in because I would have never wasted my time at this motel. Breakfast consisted of an apple ,small bottle of water a muffin and a nutragrain bar...How disappointing and a let down that was for me. Then they had the nerve to give it to you at checkout in a brown paper bag..That’s it for me. I don’t think I will be coming back to this motel any time soon. I paid 140.00 just for one night’s stay. I could have stayed st a much higher quality inn Hotel with 5 star rating rather than this low budget motel. I’m crossing Hamptin Inn off of my list of hotels now. I’m one dissatisfied customer. Next time I will make sure I’m aware of all the cut backs before I spend my money and get shady service. I feel like this motel has used Covid19 as an escape goat to lower their customer...
