Panda Express — Restaurant in Houma

I had the pleasure of visiting the new Panda Express in Houma on their grand opening, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and friendly attitudes, making me feel truly welcome.

The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. I decided to try the Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef, both of which were absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and the flavors were perfectly balanced.

What stood out to me the most was the exceptional customer service. The staff was attentive and eager to ensure that everyone had a great dining experience. Despite the bustling crowd, my order was prepared quickly and accurately.

Today, the food and service were so bad, which seems to be a common theme here lately. Went thru the drive thru and ordered a plate. The drive thru team is struggling, and they had no backup to help with restocking food and drinks. It took a good while to get to the window to only be informed they had the plate made but were out of side items we ordered, and it would be 5 minutes. Given the lengthy wait already and the line behind me, I opted to pass on the sides. The "team lead/manager" came from the kitchen and deleted all sides. I paid, then was told they would make my drink and bring me my order. After a few more minutes of waiting, we were informed they were out of tea. I asked for a refund for the drink only. A little waiting again, then was informed the sides were ready and instead of refunding the drinks, would I accept the sides which I agreed. Once home, I opened the box and was so disappointed. All my food was cold, the noodles were dry and hard, and the shrimp were soggy. The entire plate was inedible. And I didn't...

Customer service lacking. I pull up to the restaurant at 9:01 . The door clearly says the dining room closes at 9:30. The doors are locked so in knock and one hears till I start pulling at the door obnoxiously. The young lady is already cleaning up for the night. She tells me the holiday hours are until 9. Which makes little sense to me why hours would be shortened on a Monday. I pull up to the drive—thru where it clearly states the specific days are. Thanksgiving- Black Friday- Christmas- New a years etc. basics 5 specific days. Once again it seems like everyone was more concerned with going home than with serving the customer. Since there three closers I just don’t believe that none of them didn’t read their own store sign and know it was 5 specific days.
