7 Leaves Cafe — Restaurant in Houston

I've only been here twice before this post, and I really liked their Assam Milk Tea. The tea flavor is apparent and it isn't over creamified like some of the other boba places. I've made it a routine to come here now whenever I come to Bellaire. Anyways, on this day, I ordered one of the milk teas that I had been saving my macros for all day to enjoy. I was excited in anticipation for my self-reward for getting through the work day on such little calories. Our order was called. I went to retrieve the beverages but alas! My drink came without boba! :( The cashier had forgotten to ask us if we wanted add-ons, while I had forgotten that you do have to order each add on. To my surprise, a barista listened to our misfortune and brought a newly made milk tea WITH boba in it and told me that it was on the house. Hands down, best boba spot in the area and 100% my favorite spot in TX. Many of their drinks are very unique (you won't be able to find many of them any where else) and certainly worth the try. I've tried all of them and they are all delicious, my favorite being the Mung Bean and the Sea Salt Jasmine Green Tea. I've had this particular drink at other places but I have to say that no one else makes their sea salt cream better than this place. I do also want to mention that the quality of their drinks is really unmatched in comparison to other places. The flavor is consistently always on point, and as someone who has tried many many places, I can really tell the difference.

Service is great and in regards to the ambiance, the seating area is clean, nicely decorated, and bright. Perfect place to do your studies or catch up with some friends.

All in all, this is a great place with delicious drinks that would more than satisfy your sweet tooth, and I highly recommend anyone...

They have a disclaimer that they are not responsible for some allergies (including nuts), but I have never had an issue with a nut allergy in 10+ times of going here.

In my opinion, the best boba shop on Bellaire after being transplanted here from the bay area. 7 Leaves maintains an elegant, modern interior while serving delicious, flavorful tea. My go-to order is a large (+$0.75) oolong milk tea ($5.25) with honey boba ($+0.75) with less ice and light (50%) sugar. I wish they had a 25% sweetness option, but 50% is the only customization they have. Nevertheless, the result is a perfect milk tea with distinguishable oolong flavor. In the months I've gone here, the boba has always been consistent and with a perfect texture.
