Untrustworthy Staff and Poor Customer Service

We had a very disappointing experience at Claw Mania Kingdom. We had purchased a $50 package, which was supposed to include 65 tokens — thought no one at the store confirmed the amount with us at the time of purchase.

After playing, my sons and I returned with 14 stuffed animals plus 1 point token they gave us at the beginning to exchange for a prize my son had been looking forward to. We counted them twice before turning them in. However, the employee (a young woman) took the bag under the table, out of view, and told us there were only 13. She refused to recount them in front of us or allow us to verify.

This lack of transparency and professionalism is unacceptable, especially in a family-friendly environment where honesty should be a priority. If the store is going to offer an exchange program, the counting process needs to be done openly and fairly with the customer present.

I strongly recommend that customers count all items in front of the staff and request verification for tokens and exchanges. Also, I urge the store to train employees to handle these situations professionally and ensure transparency in all transactions. This experience left us feeling deceived, and unfortunately, it took the fun out of what should have been an enjoyable visit. Love this place! Had my first experience a few months ago at their second location, and man did they really go all out! The second location is MUCH bigger, with more machines and prizes to win. I’ve been a plushie lover since I came out of the womb, so to be able to play in an arcade with NOTHING but plushies??? I was like a fat kid high off a pack of smarties. I was winning left and right, getting plush after plush, and eventually got enough small prizes to get a LARGE ASS snoopy. I was so happy, especially since I once had a dog named snoopy that sadly passed a month before (rip Snoop, u were the dawg). I almost cried right then and there. And the front cashier was such a sweetheart, (her name was Annie I believe) she saw me on the verge of tears and asked if I was going through something. I told her my history with snoop, and how much the plush I won meant to me, and she gave me a piece of advice I’ll never forget! My boyfriend and I LOVE Claw Mania. It’s usually our date night routine and we always come here twice a month. We usually go get dinner near by, grab boba and walk off our food by coming here after. The claw machines are super addictive, and unlike most places, you actually have a real shot at winning. The claws all mostly still have their grip. We've always walked away with some awesome plushies and collectibles that now have a permanent home in our apartment. The machines are really well kept and clean, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Everything works smoothly, and it’s clear they take pride in maintaining the arcade. The variety of prizes is awesome too, there’s always something new to go for and the owner is so so kind and he’ll even let us know if there’s something on the price wall we don’t like he can show us what inventory he’ll have the following week.
