If I could, I’d give him a 4.5 Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was still a busy Korean dessert shop. They also serve fried hotdogs, ice cream, bingsu and ttekboki. The location here was busy that the tabletops were a little sticky b/c the employees didn’t get a chance to clean them before people needed to sit down. This lost them half a star in my rating (however since I can only do full stars I rounded up). Although there was about eight people ahead of us we were able to order pretty quickly. then we had to wait for our desserts for about 4 to 6 minutes but nothing that was too excessive. I’d rather one at fresh and freezing versus Having it already pre-melted because they prepared it ahead of time. It should be noted. This is a solo bathroom so there might be a wait since there’s only one. To be a little bit, tough in this neighborhood cause it shares it with a bunch of other retail stores that are pretty popular in this part of Chinatown right off of Bel Air Blvd. Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan on returning.

Let me start off with the food , it was delicious, made to perfection no less . My issue was the horrible service from one of the cashiers , this occurred 09.22.2024 proximately around 6:00 when we left . I’m never one to complain since I work in customer service and I relate to the stress the job carries but never once let it out on customers, when she began my order I had a question about the menu and she was simply rude about it but okay I get it bad days happen , my problem was when we were leaving the location and she glared and my children , saying pick up the trash next time , mind you I picked up after myself and kids and if this comes to the attention of the manager in charge please check those cámaras when a party of nine left around that time which was us but it was the couple that came in with us that left that , not my kids , they didn’t deserve that nasty glare she gave them . I plan on bringing this to the Houston health because as soon as we walked out the door she started throwing salt around the floor and towards the street and due to the wind it got inside my daughter eyes , I don’t know why she began throwing salt but she could’ve waited till we fully left before throwing it due to that negligence it got Into someone’s eyes and that can cause horrible irritation . Had it not been for that last incident I wouldn’t have gone to this length to make this review and contact HHA due to this because it’s unacceptable! If you have any doubts about this check the cámaras around that time that was mentioned , for it’s food I recommend this place but it’s service ??? Simply horrible and I honestly believe it was straight discrimination, a party which seemed Asian had left a mess before us getting there and the employee didnt mention anything but as soon as we sat and ordered the rudeness and horrible service began , not only that we ended up cleaning the table since most of them were dirty and had not...

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would — and honestly, I’m still trying to figure out how it’s legally allowed to operate. I tried the Korean corndogs and… y’all. I’ve had more flavor in a math textbook. The Hot Cheeto dust tasted like someone mistook vinegar for spice, and the potato coating? So under-seasoned, it made boiled chicken seem like a gourmet meal. Oh, and the hotdogs inside? Straight out of a boiling cauldron of sadness.

Then we made the mistake of trying the strawberry cream cake thing — and I say “thing” because I’m not convinced it was food. I’ve never wanted to rinse my tongue in holy water more. The tanghulu was the only redeeming factor, and that’s because it was literally just fruit covered in sugar. Can’t mess that up (but I wouldn’t bet on it next time).

The presentation was cute, I’ll give them that. Instagram might love it — but your tastebuds will file a complaint. Also, the tables were all dirty. Not one clean surface in sight. I felt like I needed to eat with one hand and defend myself with a Clorox wipe in the other.

Verdict: pretty on the outside, crime scene...
