Truly a perfect neighborhood gem. The ambiance and thoughtfulness put into Asch is above & beyond and hopefully sets a great tone for the ever growing Heights area. Personally, the market is my favorite part of the 3 shops since everything is not only delicious but health conscious and hand picked to fit the high expectations the owner has for the market. I highly recommend stopping in for a weekend morning coffee and taco, stocking up on Hot Granny Crackers, homemade pasta, and the Legally addictive OG cookies. I find myself stopping in or sending my husband for these items more than I’m proud to admit! The best part of Asch is also their ties to the community. They have a monthly gathering where local pop ups sell various items which feeds the small business community and introduces the neighborhood to local, high quality goods. It’s truly an event for the whole family with great food, good music, and all the shopping temptations. You’ll usually find the owner/operator Destiny in house answering questions and interacting with the guests which makes the entire set up feel more cozy and hands on than most other shopping experiences. I can’t say enough good things— just go and see...
Read moreAsch Building is an eclectic market style shop in the Heights. Their ethical approach to goods and services is thorough from the cups at the coffee shop being recyclable, to their clothing being produced sustainably and by other small businesses. Their food market has a wonderful variety of groceries with fresh fruits, breads, and meals as well as GF and dairy free options in their pantry section. The home portion has no waste options for household must haves such as laundry detergents, fabric softeners, and dish and hand soaps. There is a pottery class in the back called Four Circle Studio that I have dying to try. Asch Sundays (their outdoor market days) are always beautifully curated with a collection of local vendors. The staff members are extremely friendly and knowledgable in product. This is my favorite place to go when the weather is nice to drink a matcha on their back patio, refresh my pantry, or shop for new home decor/ plants. An absolute gem that I will...
Read moreWe pulled into this coffee shop which I’ve had saved for months and completely forgotten why I saved it, but knew that past me had a reason. Upon pulling up outside it’s giving a familiar vibe. Going inside it’s charming, it’s cute, the staff is friendly and inviting, you can’t help but want to wander around and explore. It gives off a very Rose Apothecary vibe in the greatest of ways and I want to spend so much time here. There’s a coffee sho and general store, a cute bright work space with lots of plants, and a wine bar area. They also had a board with really interesting upcoming events! The products in the general store looked so nice. We got the iced French toast latte and it was pretty ok of a coffee, not a lot of taste or anything to make me think of French toast but ok coffee. Will spend lots of money here because it’s cute and I’ll pay...
