City Church Houston — Attraction in Houston

I can’t say enough great things about City Church! My fiancé and I both grew up in different denominations and have found a church home that we both love. He had been going to church here for a while before I joined but I immediately felt welcomed. People took a genuine interest in getting to know me and supported me and it’s amazing to see the community we’ve developed already. It’s a diverse, engaged, genuine group of people from all walks of life. The two Pastors are awesome people, when they preach you can’t help but be engaged, and it challenges you in the best ways. The ministry partners and opportunities for service are unique and so great for the city. There are so many ways to get involved and be engaged- city groups, men and women’s focus groups, volunteering, etc. and this is what allowed us to meet so many people and really find a home. City Church has become the thing that makes Houston feel like home and I encourage anyone looking for a church home to give it a try! No matter where you are in life or in your faith, there are so many people at City Church that would love to meet you and...

Great pastor, pure bible. There’s tho, at the 11am service, a lady that is really annoying… Pastor barely finishes a sentence and this woman won’t stop to yell “yes, that’s right, aham, alleluia, amen” etc. She’s interrupting the whole service! I know there are churches with those habits, that seems to be one of the quiet ones which I loved. Someone from the “businesses” part of the church could ask her to just stop keep yelling during the whole service. You can sit on the last sits or first, you will still hear this lady interrupting...
