Saw all the great reviews and thought it would be a great place to try. I ordered the eggs Benedict and my wife ordered a frittata. Not sure if we are just use to flavorful food, being from the country, but the eggs benidict was mediocre (one came out hard boiled). The hollandaise sauce was going in the right direction, but they stopped just when the flavor started to show. The potatoes have nothing on them, just fried. For some reason they called the picture I have attached a frittata?? I asked one of the wait staff if this is a frittata and she said, “That is what it is here.” Eventually a person came out (manager?) and asked if there was a problem. I asked him if this is what they call a frittata and he said it was and that the chef was trying it out on the menu. I let him know it was not a frittata and explained how a frittata is made and how it looks. He asked if we wanted a different plate, but we said no, rather we just wanted to bring awareness to the difference in what a frittata was compared to what was brought out. The plate was basically a non flavored flat omelette with the same flavorless potatoes , sliced ham, tomatoes, green onion, and what seemed like two slices of craft cheese on top. Definitely not a frittata and didn’t taste very good. The picture you see is what was sent back. He offered something else, but we said no. If I were him, I would have took that meal off of the bill, but I guess some just say, oh well they said no to a different meal. As we were leaving, I saw a pasta plate that looked like it was supposed to be in a cream sauce, but instead the guy was twirling his pasta around in a watery milky looking “sauce”. Not sure how this place has such high stars??? The coffee was...
Read morei heard such great things about this place but i was so disappointed. the staff was rude, the woman who took my order was so unpleasant, not sure if she was having a bad day but she made it entirely clear that she wanted to be anywhere else but there. i work the breakfast crowd too at a similar restaurant and understand that some mornings are harder than others, but we deal with it and move on, not make our guests feel unwelcome. which is exactly what she did. it was my first time there and although i reviewed the menu, i had a few simple questions that she refused to answer to help me. i ordered my food regardless, found a seat, and hadn’t taken more than 4 bites without someone coming up to me trying to clear my table (since it’s self seating) even though i had a FULL plate of food. i timed it and someone would come and ask to take my food every 4 minutes, if not more. the entire time i was there. i get there was a line for brunch, as it’s self seating, but to rush someone who literally had food in their mouth and a full drink was RIDICULOUS. today was my only day off and i wanted to enjoy a breakfast, some mimosas, and read my book, so feeling rushed and unwelcome from the start was so unpleasant. the food was not anything to write home for, the breakfast potatoes are more of an onion and pepper blend, i think i got maybe 8 tiny potato pieces. i was severely disappointed, maybe i went to a bad location but if you’re wanting a pleasant brunch experience, don’t waste your money here. i for sure will not be returning to this location, maybe i’ll try another in the future but this was such an awful first experience, i won’t be recommending this place to anyone and if i could give 0...
Read moreI have never been to this restaurant before but here is my experience. I used doordash to make my order and I had no way to make my lemon blueberries pancakes gluten free so I called the restaurant to confirm they have gluten free pancakes. He assured me they do have gluten free pancakes so I could have the lemon blueberries pancakes. I explained that I will end up in the hospital if everything isn't right and had restaurants claim it is to be delivered and it wasn't before. He said no cross contaminate and completely gluten free and he would tell my driver the same. I was stoked to see what will happen. I also ordered 2 scrambled eggs and potatoes. My driver texted me everything is gluten free because the doordash app doesn't confirm. As the driver was bring the food texted me the potatoes are fried with gluten in a non dedicated frier. Well that is out. So I called the store back to confirm. Yes all the potatoes are fried in community frier with gluten. I was disappointed and told to take it up with doordash for refund. The food arrived pretty quickly and the driver was great.
I tried the gluten-free lemon blueberries pancakes. Wow! They are good. You will see from the pictures how juicy thick and big they are with lots of blueberries/ lemon. I am thankful for the honesty of the staff and business to make sure I didn't get a reaction. I only do reviews on restaurants I can eat at this is one of them.
Would i recommend this restaurant/ chain ? Yes Will I come back again? Yes
