We hosted our son and his fiancée's wedding rehearsal dinner at the Horizon on FRIDAY, MAY 17. That's one night after historic tornadic activity swept across the Houston region. Jordan, our contact for the bash, worked diligently and creatively when the venue lost power. At times, we lost power during the event but the back up generator kept up the ambiance - lights and a few hours in, it was all perfect. Jordan graciously busted her butt and kept things flowing. She secured back up cooling for our white wine, sparkling water and soft drinks. The gallery itself was PERFECT for a rehearsal dinner with less than 50 people. We reserved the smaller gallery. Jordan was AMAZING and unflappable and her team sprung into action finding generators, accommodating late deliveries, and making lemonade from lemons. And AC came back on two hours before guests arrived. The annex event space is beautiful and incredibly well suited for a cocktail or dinner party. There are multiple spaces, including 2 separate buildings, each with 2 stories of display space, and even an outdoor sculpture garden in between. There are elevators in both buildings for easy access to the second floors. The staff is what really made the experience worthwhile.
