I first discovered BoomBam after seeing all the amazing reviews on Google Maps. I was skeptical — it’s a small, hole-in-the-wall restaurant inside a gas station but the reviews were so high, and the food pictures looked incredible, so I decided to give it a shot. Plus, it’s halal, and they even have halal beef bacon, which is a huge plus.
I ordered the double cheeseburger with beef bacon and their fries. The burger was absolutely phenomenal — from the quality of the beef to the freshness of the bun, everything was on perfect. They have their own special sauce that ties it all together perfectly. I can honestly say it’s one of the top three burgers I’ve ever had anywhere.
While I was eating, another customer walked in and looked hesitant because of the location. I told him, “Trust me, just go ahead and order — you won’t regret it.” He and his friend ordered and as I promised, they loved it.
The next afternoon, I came back for more. This time I tried their Jollof rice with chicken suya, plantains, and their “Tiger Slaw” (their take on coleslaw). Everything was amazing again — the coleslaw was surprisingly delicious and better than most I’ve ever had, the plantains were perfect, and the chicken suya and Jollof rice were packed with flavor. I also grabbed another double cheeseburger.
While I was there, another man walked in with his family, looking skeptical for the same reason — gas-station location. I told him the same thing: “I came here last night and came back again today — you won’t regret it.” He ordered, and his whole family loved it.
I even brought food to my friends later that day — they loved it so much they went back the same day to get more.
Since then, I’ve tried their wings (both breaded and non-breaded), and they’re incredible — large wings and flavorful. You definitely get your money’s worth.
Everything I’ve tried from BoomBam has been consistently excellent, but my top recommendations are:
• Double Cheeseburger (add beef bacon or a fried egg — and try the beef links too) • Jollof Rice with Chicken Suya • Wings (I recommend no breading) • Fries with their house sauce
It’s rare to find a place where everything on the menu tastes great, but BoomBam is one of those once-in-a-lifetime hole-in-the-wall gems. I truly hope they continue to grow and succeed because they’ve absolutely earned it.
Everyone I’ve introduced to this place — at least 20 people so far — has come back on their own and they keeps raving about it. So if you’re on the fence, just go. You won’t regret it.
I do recommend you order ahead and take it to go since it’s a small place inside a gas station. Also it’s usually only one person cooking so be patient this isn’t crappy McDonalds or...

🍔 Boom Baam Tower Burger (10/10) Spicy beef, double patties, cheese, lettuce, pickles, grilled jalapeños, onions, Boom Baam sauce, and two beef links. Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while—juicy, flavorful, and that extra beef link takes it over the top!
🍗 Boom Baam Chicken Sandwich (10/10) Crispy fried chicken (mix of dark and white meat), lettuce, pickles, and Boom Baam sauce on a soft brioche bun. Served with their signature French rice. The sandwich was seasoned to perfection—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor.
🔥 Jerk Chicken Kabob Plate (9/10) Grilled boneless chicken breast marinated in traditional Caribbean spices. While I wish the chicken was a bit juicier, the flavor was on point. The rice on the side was super flavorful and cooked just right.
🍗 Boom Baam Wings (10/10) Naked fried wings tossed in a seasoned dust and Boom Baam sauce. These were crispy, flavorful, and surprisingly not greasy. Paired with their house-made coleslaw, it added a refreshing balance to the plate.
If you’re a foodie looking for bold flavors and hidden gems, this place is a must. Don’t let the gas station location fool you—this spot delivers big flavor in every bite. Definitely adding this one to my...

Boom Baam is the real deal! I tried the Boom Baam Tower Burger and it was a flavor-packed experience from the first bite to the last. The toasted buns gave it a perfect crunch, and the sausage link bacon added a smoky, crispy bite that stood out. The caramelized onions were rich and sweet, while the jalapeños gave just the right amount of kick—noticeable but not overwhelming. And that over-easy egg? Game changer. It tied everything together and made the burger truly next level.
I also had the Tiger Slaw (their twist on coleslaw), and it was exactly what a good slaw should be—crisp, fresh, lightly tangy, and creamy without being heavy. The Boom Baam Sauce brought it all home with a bold, zesty flavor that made every bite pop.
On top of the incredible food, the customer service was excellent—friendly, fast, and attentive. I highly recommend Boom Baam if you’re looking for a spot that delivers flavor and hospitality....
