The food was so good I went 2 days in a row. First night, 1/9, I ordered the Spicy Kabob Plate which came with Boneless Chicken Breasts and Rice. I didn't want the Slaw so I opted for the Fries. Everything was so tasty and made to order. My fries were not hot though. That sauce though...I kept eating even though I was full. The Boom Baam sauce is Da BOMB!! on the 10th I decided to order the Spicy Double Cheese burger and Fries. The meat was seasoned well and the sauce just makes it all HIT!! I will tell him to cook my fries last though because I like piping hot fries. I will be going back soon!! Maybe even this week! Lol! I don't have a picture of the Kabob plate, because I left my phone in the garage and it was too cold to go and get it. There are pictures online though.

All I can say is Hot Damn! The food is amazing! The owner greeted us at the window and helped us figure out what we wanted to try. We went with the Tower Burger which is a double cheese burger with a beef link and a jerk chicken kabob plate. All I can say is we will Definitely be back again! We went back a week later and was looking to mix things up. So I asked for something off the menu. What I received, to my delight, was the Chieftain. It is the Tower burger, as stated above, with a giant fried chicken breast. IT IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! From now on, this is my goto sandwich. I thought Arby's Meat Mountain was heaven, but its been knocked off the pedestal. Although this restaurant is in a gas station but that's no excuse not to eat here. You won't be disappointed!

Don’t let the location fool you—this gas station restaurant is a true culinary surprise. We found it online and decided to trust the reviews, and we’re glad we did. The chef brings his Nigerian roots straight to the plate with rich, flavorful jolof rice and boldly seasoned chicken skewers. While the chicken was slightly overcooked (just a bit dry), the flavor more than made up for it. The jerk chicken packs a spicy punch, but it's balanced and very tolerable. You can tell the chef is passionate about his craft. This spot proves that exceptional food and talent aren’t limited to fancy storefronts—sometimes they’re tucked right next to a gas pump.

I first discovered BoomBam after seeing all the amazing reviews on Google Maps. I was skeptical — it’s a small, hole-in-the-wall restaurant inside a gas station but the reviews were so high, and the food pictures looked incredible, so I decided to give it a shot. Plus, it’s halal, and they even have halal beef bacon, which is a huge plus.

I ordered the double cheeseburger with beef bacon and their fries. The burger was absolutely phenomenal — from the quality of the beef to the freshness of the bun, everything was on perfect. They have their own special sauce that ties it all together perfectly. I can honestly say it’s one of the top three burgers I’ve ever had anywhere.

While I was eating, another customer walked in and looked hesitant because of the location. I told him, “Trust me, just go ahead and order — you won’t regret it.” He and his friend ordered and as I promised, they loved it.

The next afternoon, I came back for more. This time I tried their Jollof rice with chicken suya, plantains, and their “Tiger Slaw” (their take on coleslaw). Everything was amazing again — the coleslaw was surprisingly delicious and better than most I’ve ever had, the plantains were perfect, and the chicken suya and Jollof rice were packed with flavor. I also grabbed another double cheeseburger.

While I was there, another man walked in with his family, looking skeptical for the same reason — gas-station location. I told him the same thing: “I came here last night and came back again today — you won’t regret it.” He ordered, and his whole family loved it.

I even brought food to my friends later that day — they loved it so much they went back the same day to get more.

Since then, I’ve tried their wings (both breaded and non-breaded), and they’re incredible — large wings and flavorful. You definitely get your money’s worth.

Everything I’ve tried from BoomBam has been consistently excellent, but my top recommendations are:

• Double Cheeseburger (add beef bacon or a fried egg — and try the beef links too) • Jollof Rice with Chicken Suya • Wings (I recommend no breading) • Fries with their house sauce

It’s rare to find a place where everything on the menu tastes great, but BoomBam is one of those once-in-a-lifetime hole-in-the-wall gems. I truly hope they continue to grow and succeed because they’ve absolutely earned it.

Everyone I’ve introduced to this place — at least 20 people so far — has come back on their own and they keeps raving about it. So if you’re on the fence, just go. You won’t regret it.

I do recommend you order ahead and take it to go since it’s a small place inside a gas station. Also it’s usually only one person cooking so be patient this isn’t crappy McDonalds or...

Here’s what I tried and my honest review:

🍔 Boom Baam Tower Burger (10/10) Spicy beef, double patties, cheese, lettuce, pickles, grilled jalapeños, onions, Boom Baam sauce, and two beef links. Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while—juicy, flavorful, and that extra beef link takes it over the top!

🍗 Boom Baam Chicken Sandwich (10/10) Crispy fried chicken (mix of dark and white meat), lettuce, pickles, and Boom Baam sauce on a soft brioche bun. Served with their signature French rice. The sandwich was seasoned to perfection—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor.

🔥 Jerk Chicken Kabob Plate (9/10) Grilled boneless chicken breast marinated in traditional Caribbean spices. While I wish the chicken was a bit juicier, the flavor was on point. The rice on the side was super flavorful and cooked just right.

🍗 Boom Baam Wings (10/10) Naked fried wings tossed in a seasoned dust and Boom Baam sauce. These were crispy, flavorful, and surprisingly not greasy. Paired with their house-made coleslaw, it added a refreshing balance to the plate.

If you’re a foodie looking for bold flavors and hidden gems, this place is a must. Don’t let the gas station location fool you—this spot delivers big flavor in every bite. Definitely adding this one to my...

Boom Baam = 10/10!

Boom Baam is the real deal! I tried the Boom Baam Tower Burger and it was a flavor-packed experience from the first bite to the last. The toasted buns gave it a perfect crunch, and the sausage link bacon added a smoky, crispy bite that stood out. The caramelized onions were rich and sweet, while the jalapeños gave just the right amount of kick—noticeable but not overwhelming. And that over-easy egg? Game changer. It tied everything together and made the burger truly next level.

I also had the Tiger Slaw (their twist on coleslaw), and it was exactly what a good slaw should be—crisp, fresh, lightly tangy, and creamy without being heavy. The Boom Baam Sauce brought it all home with a bold, zesty flavor that made every bite pop.

On top of the incredible food, the customer service was excellent—friendly, fast, and attentive. I highly recommend Boom Baam if you’re looking for a spot that delivers flavor and hospitality....
