Since 2017, I’ve had Swamiji in my life. He reintroduces the roots of authentic Hinduism (rituals, sciences, tools, knowledge, techniques, life style, etc). The Kailasas around the world have the best energy out of any Hindu temple I’ve been to. It’s more than a modern temple, it’s so powerful. If it’s not for you, that’s that, but come and sit before judging old reviews by people who know nothing of his teachings and who do not connect to it. You don’t have to follow Swamiji, but understand that everyone needs to form their own relationship with Him, and don’t go off of someone’s false ideas when they don’t have anything helpful or true to say. 🙏🙌 Hinduism is a lifestyle and ancient tradition, not a “cult”. It’s been around longer than most religions and our civilizations. This temple doesn’t demand money nor do they try to covert you. Only enriching happens here. People who volunteer here and run this temple are legitimately committed to their love of our Guru and the Gods. They won’t pressure you to give money, all of those reviews are false as well. Temples like most religious ecosystems are funded by the people who attend the, so if you can give your time, talent, energy, resources towards keeping this temple ecosystem alive, then that is fantastic. Any program that happened in the past that required payment were ALL optional. No one can force you to do anything so if people pay for spiritual programs, that’s their choice. It’s not about money or selfishness. All of His teachings are the opposite. He says “life is for others”. It’s about life positivity. Giving, and living enlightenment. This temple and Sangha is for the seekers. If you can be swayed by one negative or untrue comment, then it’s maybe not the best for you. But for those who truly want depth and growth and a life long experience with a powerful Guru, then come check it out. I’ve always been glad to have this temple in Houston and I’m excited for more to open...
