- update 5/8/25. Another complaint Still hit & miss service. Today in drive thru i asked for a cup of water for my son. The lady says we don't do that. I'd said do what? ** I'd made a food order for my child and I wanted a cup of water for him. She says we dont do cups of water any more. You'll have to pay for water. I say excuse me?? Ive never heard of that lol. Ive never been charged for water at any establishment lol. She says you have to pay for it now, but then said if not they can give me a tiny cup of water. I said ahh okay you're thinking Im asking for some big large thing, yes, a small cup of water is fine, its for a child. She says no , itll be a tiny little cup and no top on it. im in the drive thru with her telling me shes going to give me an open cup of water for a small child to drink from during a car ride lol. She then asks is that okay, with a tone that implies the gesture was meant for me to decline. I went ahead and just shrugged. Next thing i know a guy brings out this little clear cup the size of the beer pong cup, no top, with the water topped off to the top sloshing out the top as he walked. And he laughed as he handed it to me. I dont know who the manager is for this particular store. But they definitely need to be replaced. In my entire life, allll of my life, this chicfila is the FIRST and only chicfila that i have ever had any complaints about customer service. This is the only chicfila where you can not expect kindness & good customer service.////
Brought my kid Very horrible, disrespectful treatment doing ubereats here. The cashier was VERY nasty. Refused to let me see bag or receipt before demanding I hit verify. I explained that I would need to see either- or , as that's what Verify means on our end. It tells UberEats and the customer that we had verified that everything ordered was infact there and correct. And from that, if I show up with anything missing or its wrong, its then on me, not the store or ubereats. This woman argued , very nasty about this for no reason, that I'd need to verify on my app before she'd do anything. Rolling eyes and being smug when im just trying to do my job. I'd not seen any order, the receipt, the bag, I hadn't even been able to tell her who my uber eats order was for when she was being huffy and smart telling me , well that's how we're going to do it here. You will hit verify and then I'll bring out the order. I just ended up deciding to hit cancel in front of her instead. No way you don't even know who I'm picking up for and I dont know if everything is correct and you're going to be nasty and tell me I'm not allowed to ACTUALLY verify the order before saying I did. It wasn't like I was asking to see her put all items IN the bag. Just let me see the freaking itemized receipt on it, so I can match it up with what's on my screen, something !? Reporting this business to Uber as well. I dont think they understand how the policy works at all. Either that or they choose not to follow it. First time EVER having an experience at any Chick-fil-A, as a customer or with deliveries, where anyone was nasty like this. Reddit, yelp, ubereats, and maps, will have my review of this place. This was absolutely insane. Needlessly nasty. Hopefully when the next driver picks here they will see my review and know they aren't the only one, if they end up having to deal with her. & I Feel bad for my customer who will now have late food due to the order having to be remade to go out to another Driver. But there's no way I'm being treated like that and there's no way at all, when I rely on tips that I'm going to hit verify, a button that can't be undone and I haven't verified a thing. Explanation for the 'cribsheet comment': Ordered two peach milkshakes on the Chick-fil-A app and headed to the S. Wayside location - believing I had ordered the shakes from that location. Upon going to the mobile pick up area the polite lady informed me my order was at the Woodridge location. I thanked her and drove to the location.
The peach milkshakes with real fruit pieces were delicious despite my tardiness to pick them up at Chick-fil-A Woodridge. The shakes were so thick and creamy, stirring took effort. They survived my delay getting to the Chick-fil-A and my wait LEAVING, which is the reason 3 stars was given for 'atmosphere'.
'Atmosphere description': Chick-fil-A is part of 'Fast Food Restaurant Row' which includes Popeye's, Burger King, Cane's Chicken Fingers, Chick-fil-A and a McDonald's that has been located on Woodridge for more than 20 years near the gas station with convenience store that occupies the corner of Woodridge and I-45 heading North. The Chick-fil-A at Woodridge is in the center of 'restaurant row' with VERY limited parking; it's not a dine-in facility but a drive-thru or pick up (outside) restaurant. Thankfully it has clean restrooms for patrons ordering or picking up mobile orders. Drive-thru orders better drive home quick 'to go' (or head to the gas station nearby!). Nice concept for a "Chick-fil-A kiosk" but it is NOT in a convenient location. I was there for about 10 minutes because THEY lost my order and they still had the nerve to be disrespectful towards me, give me an attitude and nasty looks like if it was my fault on how disorganized they are. The first employee asked me 5-6 times “what’s the name on the order, what did you order” and before even giving me a chance to speak she’ll turn around and start gossiping with another employee completely ignoring me. The Second employee who I believe was the manager figured out that my order was all the way at back about to be handed to someone else, she called the associate to bring my order back and when I thought I was finally getting my order she placed it on the counter and proceeded to hand out other orders completely ignoring the fact that I’m still there waiting, no one ever checked my order while it was on the counter. After handing out 3 different orders she decided it was time for me to get my order, I’m not sure what was the purpose of making me wait even longer after being so patient with them, anyway a Third employee asked “what drinks did you have”, being there for so long and not knowing the drinks at the top of my head I told her I wasn’t sure, I didn’t know, she thought it was okay to just give me a nasty look. While waiting for my drinks I decided to check my order and of course they forgot my condiments, it honestly felt like it was a huge inconvenience for them to hand them to me.
