IHOP — Restaurant in Houston

Husband wanted Olive Garden and I saw IHOP had there "kids eat free" ad so I said "eh save a couple of bucks" lol First of , it is not kids be free , if their plates with drinks cost 5.99 , these kids eat free days they will charge you the drink 2.75 !!! What ??!! So I can order them a free meal but have them not drink anything??!! Why not say they will charge us for the drinks as well ??!! Anyways , Husband's sandwich was gross , he took out most of the chicken and couldn't go thru with finishing the other half so he left half a sandwich with most of the chicken , gross .. Then my son's chicken tenders I believe they were , were like burned lol not well done but burned , we just gave him a bunch of ketchup so he could eat it .. My other son's burger was not good at all , so we didn't make him finish it .. Like the meat was bland and hard but hot .. My country fried steak was okay at first .. Then I couldn't even bite into it. . I turned it and knife wouldn't go thru in some spots and when I chewed it , I felt the hard parts and I just stopped trying and left more than half of the meat there , cause I was not gonna upset my stomach with that trash of " food " .... My husband made the remark of " we should have gone to Olive Garden " , and I looked at cashier / our waitress and I told her , ' oh he means that the food was gross here , like we have came before and got good service so we decided to come again and thanks for the service but the food was nasty and gross so if you see our plates most of the food was left behind, and he chose Olive Garden and he was right " .. So she called manager and him and his attitude gave us back $6 , lol okay sir .. I didn't ask for a discount, first of all and secondly that covers most of the kids drinks that were supposed to be free or with their meal .. We still tipped waitress cause she didn't cook that disgusting food .. Oh yeah and I laughed because my broccoli was hot but hard from being frozen lol not going back again when there are so many other choices and well I'll let fb people know as well cause this is a...

I am writing this review as a very concerned mother regarding how my pregnant daughter was treated at this IHOP location. What happened to her should never happen to anyone, let alone an expectant mother. My daughter went into this restaurant simply looking for a quiet place to sit and study. She wasn’t bothering anyone, wasn’t taking up space during a busy time, and was simply minding her own business. Despite that, the manager on duty, Denise, repeatedly approached her, kept bothering her, and eventually kicked her out just because she didn’t want to order food at that moment. To make matters worse, Denise went so far as to falsely accuse my daughter of stealing her pen. Not only was this completely untrue, it was humiliating and unnecessary. The way Denise chose to handle the situation was aggressive, unprofessional, and deeply concerning.What is most troubling is that my daughter is pregnant. She deserved compassion, patience, and respect — but instead she was harassed and treated as though she did something wrong, when all she was doing was sitting quietly. This level of hostility toward a pregnant woman is unacceptable under any circumstances. It is also important to note that it is not against IHOP’s policy for someone to sit quietly if they are not causing any problems. My daughter has been to other IHOP locations where this was never an issue. Clearly, the problem lies with how Denise manages this restaurant. As a mother, I am outraged and extremely concerned. This type of treatment reflects very poorly on IHOP, and I strongly urge corporate to investigate Denise and this location. No customer — especially a pregnant woman — should ever be harassed, disrespected, or falsely accused in this way. IHOP is supposed to be a place of community and comfort, not a place where vulnerable people are made to feel unsafe...

Horrible manager Hispanic lady is not friendly at all , she’s extremely rude and very passive aggressive. She scolds her employees in front of everyone and also has a very hostile personality.

My daughter found a hair in her drink and we both have curly hair and bleached hair , the hair in the drink was black and straight hair. I had asked the manager if she could switch her drink (it was a milkshake split in two cups) one I was drinking and one my young daughter was drinking. The manager quickly started explaining that everyone in the back wears hairnets and she was wrong , our waitress made the drinks I believe because she got scolded for making us new ones again after the incident and even my daughter saw the easy she spoke to her. She had told our waitress that she should’ve just remade my daughter’s drink bcs only one half of the drink had a hair … my daughter was like look mom “the lady is yelling at our waitress about the drinks she remade “ (our waitress still wasn’t wearing a hairnet btw) so the manager could’ve handled it differently or even just asked someone with an actual hairnet to had remake our drinks instead she embarrassed herself and our waitress. Such a horrible person. Anyways I didn’t care to check my own part of the drink but maybe I had already swallowed hair , I don’t get why she cared that much to behave like that. Anyways it’s not the waitress fault , people make mistakes but manager lady should’ve at least asked someone else to do it again if she was that upset smh I just miss the old manager , he was very nice but this lady is just terrible (You can see someone coming from the kitchen area...
