I arrived at your location at 9:58 PM, I was aware that your location would be closing soon as your normal hours of operation are 10:45AM - 10PM. I saw there were still customers inside and approached the door to see if the doors were still open. One of your employees (she said her name was Huhn) rushed to the door to lock it as she saw me walking up. I stood at the door and waited for her to tell me they were closed. I waved and pointed to my phone which showed the current time of 9:58PM. Your employee responded by shrugging her shoulders, rolling her eyes and walking off as I'm sure your surveillance will show. Instead of arguing with her I called the store location wherein another representative answered the phone. I explained the situation at hand and she immediately came from the back of the kitchen to open the door. She was very apologetic (that the doors were currently locked).
After ordering my food, the same young woman who had previously locked the door(Huhn), proceeded to check me out. After paying for my meal I asked your employee, "why did you lock the door when you saw me approaching?" She responded "the clocks in our restaurant are different than yours, they showed a different time so I thought that closing hours had already passed." I followed up by asking her, "If that is the case, why did you shrug your shoulders when I showed you my phone and held up the number two with my fingers to indicate the time." She then proceeded to lie to me and tell me, "I thought you were trying to tell me you had an uber order. So I walked away to check where we keep the orders." Rather than argue with your employee, I simply told her, " regardless of your reasoning, your actions were extremely rude." Another woman, (not Huhn) who I assume was the manager, apologised again. I informed Huhn that I would be contacting your office to detail the event and my disappointment.
Upon leaving your restaurant, a woman who had checked out just before me followed after me and informed me that when I arrived, this employee (Huhn) rushed to the door purposely to lock it, and after walking off exclaimed, "I'm not letting her in!" She also informed me that she had also received poor customer service during her entire transaction, even though she had arrived around 9:45PM and frequents your location almost every night.
I was very disappointed in your employee's seemingly (huhn's) malicious actions as I visit your location quite often as well. I would hate to think that this employee's obviously negative attitude was racially charged, due to the fact that me and the other complaining customer that night were of African American descent. I would also hate to think that this is the type of behavior that your organization condones. Even if your staff member had been poorly trained, common decency and respect should warrant better treatment then what was given...
Read moreDon’t go here. ☹️☹️☹️ Food is not fresh. Honestly it looks like left overs from the day before. Had the worst experience ever on yesterday. Contacting their corporate office right after I send this. Chipotle would not give me my purchased online order because I ordered on the website rather mobile app according the employee. I was told possibly catering orders may work better from the website. Employee said the charge from the online order would fall off over the phone before I went to the store. Employee gave me this # n said request a refund at the 1249 northwest freeway 77008 location rather than replacing my order. Employees were sooo rude. Maybe because of bad management at the store or he is not doing good on who he hires. One or the other or both. Asked for the manager before the employee spoke with me. The manager never came out to the front to help or resolve the issue instead sent one of his employees who told me to call this ph #. Called the given contact number 5 times n I kept getting sent to wrong dept or to the phone online order to place an additional order, was disconnected, sent to wrong dept even to a chipotle in Colorado. Called back in placed order after manager hung up on conference call/ 3 way call that was set up from the phone number provided from the store. Was there a whole hour after they took $75 something. End up paying again in the store.
Employees look over me due to be bad management/ horrible customer service n never receive my free entree that chipotle offered over the phone. During checkout this lady by the guy at the register requested a code. End up never getting free entree in the end. I was told to step to the side Helping next customer- called 6th time requesting a barcode or code or something that employee said was needed after I had already told her the agent already said they offered 1 free entree over phone. Called back after speaking to a different person they change up n said they will not give a code.
If your order is lost - Don’t ask to get transferred to get 1 free entree if offered. Should have never tried to have my order replaced n got transferred. If u call back to get the code for the store employee needed at the register you might get a different person over the phone that may not help you as before.
Be careful. You may ending up having to get a refund over phone or get your bank to dispute it if your order is lost. End up having 1 bowl for 3 with my family. Barely gave me any food like other chipotle locations always give. Food was not fresh. Lettuce and guacamole was soggy as well. I should have read these reviews on this location before ordering here now that I see some bad reviews of food not being fresh and bad service. Never going back...
Read moreWell, this was my very first time at a Chipotle and I definitely was NOT impressed!!! Not one single employee looked happy about working there and the girl at the actual serving line definitely should NOT be the person in that position! She never once smiled or expressed excitement for a first time customer. The food counter was an absolute mess! She didn’t have enough serving utensils and was cross contaminating all the condiments like the sour cream, guacamole, pico, corn and salsa. And all of these food choices were ALL OVER the serving counter. I wanted a burrito and it seemed anything I asked to be put on it cost extra. So for a salad that my friend got, my one burrito and two drinks it cost $34.80! Way, way too much money for this food? Will not be back to this location at all, and most likely not ANY of their locations. I was so excited to try it too, seeing all the commercials! This was absolutely NOTHING like the commercials! The dining atmosphere is STARK to say the least. Not even the patrons looked very happy. Why they would spend their hard earned money on this food was beyond me. For that kind of money I have a great little Mexican restaurant close to home that I can have a really enjoyable sit down meal in a comfortable booth with an ice tea and free chips and out of this world...
