Marble Slab Creamery — Restaurant in Houston

I come here pretty often and today there is something that really bothered me and I won’t be coming back here anymore after today, first off I posted a pic of my banana split and the guy rolled the container up in the bag and when I opened it, it looked like that, the ice cream was every where. My second complaint is that while I was there, I did not see any of the workers wearing gloves! My last complaint is that he got confused or something with one of the flavors I wanted and he got one of those little spoons to sample the ice cream and he took one sample and ate it and then used the exact same spoon he just ate off of and dug it into another container of ice cream to taste that one as well! Very disturbing to see the person helping me to put the same spoon that just went into his mouth into the ice cream where they take from to serve people ! First no gloves and then that! Not coming...

8:50pm I walked in just now to get my favorite ice cream with marshmallows. But instead, I witness what appears to be the manager (after talking to one of the employees) named Sergio that thought it was OK to answer his personal phone from his pocket while touching food and food containers, and preparing food. Which is against health code. He did not wash his hands until I said something. The girl behind the counter was just as clueless because when I mentioned it to her, she looked at me like I was speaking a totally different language. She really didn’t want to give me his name if that’s even his right name. I’m not sure why it’s so hard for employees to do their job safely because I preferred to not have...

The ice cream is good as always I’ve gone to this marble slab location most of my life and now with the new main manager he’s rude and greedy with things. I used to get the prefect amount of everything. I asked him for extra of a topping n he seemed to catch an attitude about it. I was also telling him what I wanted in my ice cream and he raised his voice to say what like sir idc that ur wearing ur AirPod but don’t come at me bc u can’t hear. Then I put in the wrong number for the rewards and I asked if I could change it n he acted like he couldn’t change it.
