Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Houston

If it were possible to put negative stars I would. This may be the single worst restaurant of any variety that I have ever been to. I've worked in restaurants for 15 years so I'm pretty forgiving generally. Not too easily bothered. This place just took the cake though. The intercom doesn't work really. That was the first incident. Then the woman working the drive thru must have asked for my order about six or seven times and kept getting it wrong. Sometimes she'd just space out and stare at us. Honestly she might have been on some pills or something. She did not seem really there. Finally we get the order in and pull up to the window. After about five minutes of idling there she comes to the window and asks our orders again and takes the money. Then gets our drinks. She hands it to me. Lid is broken. Very narrowly missed an entire lap full of sweet tea. Only a little spilled. She disappears again for about fifteen minutes. Still idling. Finally comes back and brings us our food. Mine is lukewarm and the bread was going stale. My son's is lukewarm, bland, and rubbery. My wife said hers was alright. So there's that. All in all though. Just a mindblowingly bad food service experience. Avoid the hell out...

I've been a very loyal customer since the day it is open I rated this time we're a little score for the food and service because I had a very bad experience through just to drive through only I just can't believe even the manager can lie to me by replacing my food I repeated my order four five times and they end up giving me something I did not absolutely want I told them I want three crispy thigh I come home and I'll get too small chicken wings and the chicken breast which I hate to eat it so I end up did not eat dinner:-(! The black and whiskey chicken was way too peppery:-(! When the manager told me that he take excellent care of me and that is a lie I did not get the food that I wanted again I got sick as a dog feel nauseous stomach ache and did not sleep but less than an hour because I have severe diarrhea for three pieces of chicken thigh it took too long on the service through the drive-thru I had to deal with three people just because the manager did not follow through I put my name on the board and then he told me a lie that he would cover the whole meal I got the wrong side order also I even ordered an extra side order but they overcharged...

Went to this location to get some food . When we pulled up to the speaker, we tried taking our order, and the lady said she couldn't hear us. So I decided to go in and place the order .got the order, and the food was good .we sat there in the parking lot for a few minutes, and enjoyed our food . But then another guy rolled up to the speaker. Him ,a black man tried to also place his order I watched the whole interaction. The people up front taking the orders all looked outside and watched the lady(30-40yrs old) on the speaker sit there not even trying to hear what the man is saying. Right after every word she he said all she replied with is "what,i cant hear you, i cant hear you" she was lying all she was doing and sitting there and playing on the speaker. Why do you have to see a person to determine if your gonna take their order or not? Simple as being prejudice. Throw away the whole staff and get people that actually wanna work and...
