A Flavorful and Wallet-Friendly Experience at #1 Chicken Rice & Seafood
If you're a fan of soul-satisfying comfort food that doesn't break the bank, #1 Chicken Rice & Seafood should definitely be on your radar. I recently had the pleasure of trying their Amazing Chicken and Fried Rice, and I must say, it lived up to its name in every aspect.
Firstly, the portion size is generous, making it a fantastic value for money. For just a few bucks, you get a hearty serving that's filling and satisfying. This makes it an excellent option for those looking for a budget-friendly meal that doesn't skimp on quality or quantity.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the Amazing Chicken. The chicken is perfectly seasoned with a blend of spices that strike the right balance between savory and slightly spicy. The skin is crispy, providing a delightful crunch with every bite, while the meat inside is tender and juicy. It's clear that they use fresh, high-quality chicken, which makes all the difference in the flavor.
Moving on to the fried rice, it's a flavorful accompaniment to the chicken. The rice is cooked to perfection - not too dry, not too oily, with each grain distinct and fluffy. It's packed with vegetables and bits of egg, adding texture and depth to the dish. The seasoning is spot-on, complementing the chicken without overpowering it.
The ambiance of #1 Chicken Rice & Seafood is casual and welcoming, with a focus on serving great food rather than fancy decor. The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring that your food arrives hot and fresh.
In conclusion, #1 Chicken Rice & Seafood's Amazing Chicken and Fried Rice is a must-try for anyone looking for delicious, affordable comfort food. It's a testament to the fact that you don't have to spend a lot to enjoy a meal that's packed with flavor and quality. Read moreThis place used to be five star but the girl with the braids working there now has attitude and more interested in Instagram then taking payments for food orders.
When i asked to pay for my order she turned her back to me saying pay later but instagram on her phone was clearly more important than accepting payments. Then she mentioned I don't pay her phone bill and should not look at the Instagram she put in my face lol. I think original owners have passed this to another generation that doesn't operate in the same way that they used to. Food is pretty good still but the unnecessary attitudes are strong here now and a homeless guy is allowed to live in the entrance way. This is also one of those CASH ONLY businesses obviously looking to avoid taxes so none of that money comes back to your community.
The nearby Blodgett Food Hall has all the same items that are just as good if not better but you don't have to deal with...
Read moreSo I would never have wrote an review for this company because I have never had any bad experience with them over 19 years up until today. So I purchased 3 wings with roll and an drink. When I got in car and started to eat wing I noticed it was very red inside meaning it was not cooked all the way. I took it back and the cashier gave me my money back and said that the owner said they are not giving me anymore chicken because the chicken will come from the same batch as the wings I just brought back. Wow is all I can say. So basically they wanted me to eat chicken that was not fully cooked. The owner just didn't care and refused to just replace chicken or even see if I wanted another product. But now they have lost an customer. This is one reason why I hate when we buy from these other ethnic groups and their attitude is horrible. Your in the heart of 3rd ward and making money off of the black community and don't...
