Disappointed. I ordered a Hello Kitty heart-shaped cake a week in advance for my daughter’s birthday. During the ordering process, I was told the cake would cost extra due to the heart shape, which I agreed to. We discussed the size, shape, and design in detail.

However, when I arrived to pick it up on the day of the party, I was extremely disappointed to find that the cake did not resemble a heart at all. I was shocked that they would present the cake as ‘acceptable’ in that condition. When I raised my concern, I was told the shape couldn’t be clearly defined because it was a smaller 10” cake. If that was the case, it should have been clearly communicated at the time of ordering. not at pickup when it’s too late to make other arrangements.

I had also asked for “Happy Birthday” to be written on top with a small Hello Kitty image at the bottom. Instead, they said the text didn’t fit on the top and had to place it around the base, which wasn’t what I envisioned.

What frustrated me most was that I paid extra for a heart shape and didn’t receive it. They offered to redo the borders in an hour, but I was already on a tight schedule and far from the party and didn’t have time to wait. I asked for a discount and was only offered $15 off. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to accept it and move on sadly, my daughter was left to take birthday pictures with a deformed/undefined cake.

The only saving grace was that the cake and frosting did taste good, but overall, I was very unhappy with the service and how the situation was handled. I have been wanting to try the Tres Leches Cake here because I heard the bakery is "known" for its 3 milk cake. So, I ordered 2 cakes for family and friends on Thanksgiving. At my family's home ( Mexican Family Side) EVERYONE said there was no milk in the cake! Sure there was filling and frosting but no milk in the cake layers. I took the 2nd cake to a friend's home and that Tres Leches also had no milk in the cake layers! My family and friend love Tres Leches so, needless to say, they were all disappointed 😞. The next day ( Friday) I called the Manager, who helped me place the order and told her that both Tres Leches cakes had no milk in the layers, she told me to take a picture. I later went back to the bakery to see what they could do for me because both cakes did not have milk. I was told that the next time I should order the cakes with "extra milk," even though there was NO Milk at all! That is not a solution! Even a family member who was at the Thanksgiving Dinner, told the manager, that these Tres Leches Cakes were milkless! After asking for a better resolution, other than "make sure to order a Tres Leches Cake and ask for MORE Milk ( when none was in the cake); the manager said he would give me $20 credit ( I bought $80 of Tres Leches Cake). My family members advised me to buy the Tres Leches at another bakery even though El Bollilo Bakery touts itself as making the best Tres Leches ( it says that on the cake boxes). I will definitely listen to family members who know Good Milk filled Tres Leches Cakes and buy the cakes from their recommended bakery; rather than one that promotes...

So I placed two Cake Orders over the phone 1 for myself & 1 for friend we were both celebrating our birthdays together. Both of us had family members pay good money for our cakes so we expected the cake to be perfect and delicious. Together the cakes were a little over $100. They were 2 Quarter Sheet Cakes. Well for 1 when I picked up the cakes my friends cake was not the same Mickey Mouse face she wanted on her cake. 2 the black icing was bleeding on the white back ground. 3 my Cake was smeared where it was supposed to read Happy 22nd. 4. When I placed the order over the phone the lady I spoke to quoted me the priced for the cake with a small silver fondant crown on top when I arrived it was just a crown draw on the cake in gray. I was already upset with the cakes imperfections in appearance. However I didn’t let it get to me because we had a party to host. So I took the cakes home anyways. Well imagine how disappointed we were when we cut into our birthday cakes to find that they were just vanilla sheet cakes when we specifically ordered marble cakes. There were little smidges of chocolate in the cake but it was all mainly vanilla and not to mention my friends cake was so dry and over baked.
