Golden Seafood — Restaurant in Houston

I'm so disappointed in this restaurant. I have been going there for years every sunday buying $60 or more on food and never had any problems. I ordered two seafood soups to go. When I got home, they were spoiled. By that time, the restaurant was closed. I called the next day, but they didn't want to replace them or give me credit for both of them. What a waste of money. Very bad customer service, employees do not give a danm about customers. They would rather lose clients that pay to maintain that establishment open, without customers they would close, without customers the will not have a job or a pay check. I do not like to wish anyone anything bad, but this place deserves you close. I will send the city the food inspector. I asked to speak to a manager or the owner, but the two cashiers pretended to be the managers they did not want to give out their names. Never going back, you lost a good customer just for $20. Hope the owner sees this and fixes things around there. Better go their neighbors Tampico mar y tierra. My new favorite restaurant. tue food is better and customer service is great. None of this stupid place. This how their nasty soup ended at the danm floor.

I went to have dinner with my mom. The waiter was friendly. I order the seafood platter with a michelada and my mom order the seafood soup. When we got our food I asked for some cocktail sauce. The waiter brought it and when I tasted the sauce I immediately tasted the fermentation of the sauce. I asked my mom to try it Incase I was wrong and she smelled it and tried the cocktail sauce and it tasted bitter and smelled sour. I began to feel disgusted and lost my appetite. I did not even want to eat my platter anymore of the disgusting taste I had from the sauce. I drank some of my beer and I felt sharp edges and noticed my glass mug was chipped. 20 minutes later our waiter decides to show up and I kindly told her about the situation and she kindly said she would let the manger know so they can toss out the sauce. A few minutes later the manager comes to our table and says the sauce is not spoiled and that other people tried it and also said it wasn’t spoiled. So basically now I’m a liar who refused to eat my food. The waiter takes the platter that I didn’t eat and disappears again for another 20 minutes. She brings the check and I asked her why they were charging me for a dish I did not eat b/c I felt sick to my stomach from a spoiled food item they had served me. Her reply was “the sauce was spoiled not the shrimp platter” the waiter admitted that the sauce was bad. I will never go to this place again. First time customer: Called in my order...was told it'd be ready in 15 minutes. My commute was 20 minutes and I still had to wait another 25 minutes before my food was ready. I'm convinced whoever took my order never entered it. Anywho, I chose to wait because I was starving and really had my heart set on a platter. I love, love seafood so I ordered the double seafood platter with intentions of having some for lunch tomorrow. The following items taste the same: fish, oysters, shrimp, and scallops. There was no natural flavor of the seafood nor was there proper seasoning. (Everything battered in the same godforsaken concoction, i suppose) The following items were distinctive yet still disappointing: stuffed crab and hushpuppies. The crab stuffing was actually pasty and the hushpuppies were gorgeous on the outside but undercooked inside. The French fries were soggy. And yes, I tasted them immediately-I'm not judging on the 8 minute commute home in Styrofoam...I'm no amateur. The cheesecake was delicious....but I'm sure that's outsourced.
