Everything is fantastic! Period. Now that we got that out of the way, here are my recommendations, in no particular order:
1.) Tacos Norteño - $3 each, but heavyweights in the taco field. I can't finish 3... comfortably... but I manage to make myself miserable trying!
2.) Tony's... anything! "Tony's" is a style of preparing whatever it is you ordered. I love Tony's Tacos ($2 each) and Tony's Burger ($10 or $12, and massive!).
3.) Charro Beans ($1 or $2 each, or free with $4 spend). OMG! Do not leave here without trying these!
4.) ... and of course, my "Go To" Tacos al Pastor ($1 each for corn or $2 each for flour. I get corn tortillas and add fresh onions & cilantro.
5.) House-made salsas and limes (FREE!)! I love their Salsa Verde!
6.) Elotes ($3 each)! I almost forgot!
... and I always recommend washing it down with an ice cold Mexican Coke or Horchata!
And don't forget to show much earned love with a contribution to the tip jar! They work hard, very long hours and still...
Read moreO.M.G is what is used to describe these Delicious tacos. So, 1st off I’m From Chicago, and coming from a city that has such dynamic food from all different backgrounds. I know what a good Street taco taste like. But, I gotta say I wasn’t find much luck while visiting Houston when it came to tacos. I’m sorry I’ll just say it but a lot of these food taco trucks just weren’t hitting on anything. Food was two things over priced or just not seasoned enough. Anyway while visiting Houston back in March my friend told me about this bomb taco place so I had to try it out. Since then I’ve came to Houston about 4 times and have had these delicious tacos. The tacos are crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside. For a good truck they have lines sometimes but it’s always moving very quickly. Once you place your order it’s not a long wait. And they don’t mess up your order. I give this place...
Read moreI tried this place for the first time today and I am actually surprised at how good it was. Fajita, chicken, and pastor tacos are $1 and all other meats are $2. The dollar tacos are not as stuffed as the two dollar ones and they're quite small, but the flavor of the fajita is excellent and, according to my mom, similar to the flavor of cecina tacos in Mexico and I was able to feed a family of 6 with just $30. The meats that I recommend are fajita, chicharron, and tripa. Yes, the tacos are a little greasy but I absolutely love that the tortillas are griddled to have a slight crisp around the edges, and their hot sauces are the best I've had since El Jarro Cafe closed down but be warned that the red one is insanely hot. The frijoles charros are also surprisingly good - it's apparent that these people actually make the effort to...
