I recently had the pleasure of dining at Filli Restaurant at Hillcroft, and I must say, the experience was outstanding! The ambiance was warm and inviting, but what truly made the evening exceptional was the stellar service provided by two young women, Ayesha Yousuf and Jenni.

From the moment we arrived, Ayesha and Jenni greeted us with genuine smiles and a friendly demeanor that instantly made us feel at home. Their attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect dining experience did not go unnoticed. They were incredibly sweet, cooperative, and attentive, ensuring that every detail was taken care of with utmost professionalism and care.

Ayesha was particularly helpful in guiding us through the menu, offering insightful recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. Jenni’s cheerful and attentive nature made sure that our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

Their teamwork and dedication to providing excellent customer service were truly remarkable. It’s rare to find such a high level of personal attention and genuine care in customer service these days. Ayesha and Jenni are real assets to Filli Restaurant, and they significantly enhanced our dining experience with their exceptional service.

A good alternative to the Corporate Mermaid from Seattle.

This is my 4th visit to a Filli, second time at this location. I always wonder why it feels warm in here. When I peeked at their thermostat, it was 79. I don’t think Icould come here to study and meet friends in the Houston summer, but to-go is always an option.

Today was a rainy day so I ordered their chocolate, hoping to try Filli’s twist on this classic. It was just chocolate, nothing that screamed Khaleeji spices.

I did wait a good 10 minutes for my drink. The barista and register attendant took my order but then proceeded to fulfill the other guests drinks first. After all the other guests were served, She then started making a green drink. I check with her to make sure that was chocolate because it looked like matcha and she responded not to worry, she was making a little drink for herself first.

Well gee, what a relief! After finishing making her drink, she pours milk in a container, takes it to the back kitchen, comes back to the front, and just adds chocolate. What a great ceremony. Like I said, it wasn’t anything special, but for how long it took her to make my drink and her delay in making it to make her green drink first would have made me think the wait was...

It was our first time trying this place. Very well lit, beautiful interior, very friendly and welcoming staff and kid friendly. I am always very hesitant on trying kheer outside as it almost never meets my expectations but this place proved me wrong, probably one of the best matka kheer I have had till date! To beat the Texas heat I wanted to have an Aam Panna Crush but they were out of it. The staff did offer me to make it without the sparkling water but did advise that it won’t be that great and upto the standard. They advised me to try the mango dragonfruit mojito instead and oh boy was my mind blown! So so refreshing! I would rate it 20/10 - must try! I did tell them to make it on the sweeter side.

My husband tried the Zafran Chai and he absolutely loved it.

I have an 18month old and since it was past her bedtime as usual she was throwing tantrums. The staff was very kind enough to offer her cookies free of cost and entertained her so she would be calm and comfortable.
