The place was a “sit where you choose” kinda place and there was enough room to sit where you want while keeping distance. When we got the menu we didn’t have a clue of what to eat as this was our first Mediterranean food experience . We had heard of a couple of the items before and decided to try them. The service was welcoming and patient with us. It didn’t seem too long after we ordered that we got our food. We tried the Gyro plate first that had beef and lamb with rice and hummus as sides. The beef and lamb were actually delicious it had a soft texture with flavor. The rice, now that was something I didn’t see coming. It was as someone I’m very close with described “light and fresh”, very great stuff. The hummus was something I was a little scared to try at first because I didn’t know what flavor to expect but when I dipped the side “tortillas” as I’ll call them for them now , it was pretty good like a nice full dip. Almost forgot, we ordered Philly cheese steaks that were so bomb my gf also finished eating mine without realizing. French fries as a side that tasted pretty good when you dip it in the hummus. Overall, this cafe and grill is definitely somewhere to stop by for a quick...
Read moreBeen coming here for years with no issues. Just ordered a BURGER over the phone, the employee did not specify, which type, nor did they ask me to specify which type. In my head, an American burger is a simple beef burger. I get to the shop, and they give me a chicken burger. When trying to explain the situation, the employee is giving me an attitude (Khalid). After about 5-7 minutes it waiting, I ask for fresh fries for both of my orders, as I now have to wait 10+ minutes as my food is getting cold. Khalid proceeds to act as if this was the biggest ask in the world, continuously giving attitude and displaying signs of annoyance. Anyways, he then says he’ll exchange the fries and then says “next time, please specify on the phone.” To which I reply, “I don’t work here, next time tell your employees to specify which type of burger someone’s works, as they know the options, and I do not.” This was such a horrible interaction, and unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this location if they is how they treat their customers, a simple “I’m sorry let me fix the issue” would have sufficed. Hopefully no one tampered with my food. I wish I didn’t...
Read moreThis was our first visit to this place. Read about it on Instagram and had to try it out. We were not disappointed.
It was a little confusing at first because the sweet waffles and crepes business is on one side and the savory Mediterranean grill business is on the other. We were wanting to try both and not sure what we should do so we went to the grill side and ordered something savory, except for my daughter who stayed on the waffle side and ordered chicken and waffles.
I ordered the gyro combo and my wife ordered the beef shwarma plate with rice and baba ganoush. I tried some of the beef plate and we both loved it. I will get that next time. The gyro was very good but the plate was even better. Don't think I've ever had the baba dish before (it has eggplant)and it was the perfect compliment to the beef and rice.
We also had baklava, both the rolled lady finger style and the more traditional triangular style. We liked the finger style a little better because it was more crisp and crunchy, but both were good.
We were all wanting to try the sweet crepes and/or waffles but were too full. They looked incredible but will have to wait...
