An evening out with my daughter and her adventurous white friend. Service was ok, no biggie. Server was nice but we felt a bit pressured to pay the bill before we were done eating.
Finger Licking is a Nigerian restaurant serving authentic Naija cuisine. They are big on “efo riro” (mixed African vegetable soup). We decided to try other soups today.
We had popular Naija drinks: Star Lager Beer and Orijin (spirit mixed drink with African herbs and fruit extracts.
For morsels, we each had pounded yam, accompanied with Bitter Leaf Soup and Tilapia fish (1); Egusi (melon) soup with Assorted Meats: beef, shaki (tripe) and cow leg, popularly called “bokoto”! (2).
